She told a grieving family of a 2 year old who was shot to death that they were misinformed and ignorant, while there is an all out war on the streets against the Asian and Black communities here. In the last 6 months on my street, directly in front of where I live, there’s been a triple homicide, 5 shootings with injuries, multiple fires lit by homeless folks (one of which decimated a Black church), a man shot in the head with a bow and arrow, and more robberies and muggings than I can begin to count. In the US you have property taxes to ensure only rich people can live in rich people areas and poor people live in poor people areas. Actual justice warrior needs to do a video on Kim gardner, circuit attorney for the city of st louis. Among many other things, recently an out of town 17 year old with her family were visiting from Indianapolis for volleyball. A man arrested for armed robbery in 2020 and given a personal recognizance bond last August and was to be monitored by gps and told to stay home ran over the Indianapolis girl, paralyzing her. The suspect violated the stay at home order several times and should never of been given the recognizance bond. Locals have called for her to step down but she's lying and saying her office requested that the judge revoke the guy's bond 3 times but there is no record of this. She was fined in 2019 60 grand for using campaign funds for personal use. This lady is dirty and should of been fired long ago.

I can't imagine any reason why the woke DA's would take hardened criminals, with violent felonies, and demand they are given lesser sentences or outright released while providing no redeeming qualities or extenuating circumstances of the situation UNLESS it can be used later as a precedent to not serve true justice based on a social justice narrative. i.e. Well, shaved 90% of the time off of "X" person's sentence for no reason, so why not my client. Social justice is seeking "fairness" based on social inequities that are perceived to have led to the particular crime, which is really taking justice from the victim or victim's family in order to provide undeserved leniency on crime.
