Hi Becca, your vlog style vidoes are fun to watch. It was great to see a glimpse of your stitchy meet up with all your famous stitching friends, it looks and sounds like so much fun. Your Kringles is so pretty so I hope you keep at it and complete it as it's such a beautiful piece. Your new antique sampler looks so cute!
You live in such a beautiful part of the country, so glad you get outside time. I'm indoorsy and know outdoors is better for my mental health. I love when my cats hunt from the windowsills. They will race around the house from window to window. Always keeping you in my thoughts, depression is not a joke. 20+ years for me off and on.
Hi 👋 Becca you are doing a great job 🤩 and your amazing person. I enjoy watching your videos and love the new vlogs. Love your haul and new sampler. Have a wonderful Friday and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I really like your vlog. It’s fun to see what goes on in your life from day to day. I hope you are feeling better. I have battled depression and anxiety periodically as an adult. After coming out of the pandemic, my anxiety was hard to control so I finally gave in to taking meds for it. It has helped a lot. Stitching has also gotten me through some tough bouts of depression and anxiety. It seems to calm me down. I’m glad you got to spend time with your stitchy friends. Being around people you care about really helps. I like your Mill Hill kits. I started stitching them back in the day when they were only making ornaments from what I can remember. In those days the ornaments were stitched with beads. No regular cross stitch, just beads. I stitched fall, Halloween, and Christmas. They are so pretty. I have also stitched the current ornaments. I have no idea how I had the patience to stitch the totally beaded ones. I know they tell you to stitch with three threads. I quit doing that and stitch with two threads. I thought three threads were a lot more difficult to stitch so I tried using two and I think it looks fine. You live in a beautiful area. One of my best friends lived on Bainbridge Island many years ago. I have taken the ferry before. It was so beautiful in the summer. I visited her right after Christmas one year. It was so cold and it rained a lot. At that point I was ready to go back to SoCal. It is beautiful though. I hope you are doing better. I’ll have to watch your next vlog tomorrow to catch up with your life.
I’m going to try 2 strands on my next one then. I actually think beading is my favorite part of the mill hill kits. 🙃 I have my good days and bad days when it comes to being depressed but I am an open book, so if I’m struggling the day I’m recording, y’all are gonna see it. I’m on medicine for something else that is also an antidepressant but might not be strong enough for helping with depression since that’s not what it’s intended for. 💜
Oh Becca!!!! We love you girl!!!! You are an amazing stitcher. I watch all of your videos. You are one of my favorite floss tubers. You are like an idol to me. Please overcome the depression. Everyone gets it, us stitchers are pros at coming out of depression right? We stitch, we do the things that we love. Hold your head up high girl… love ya, happy stitching my friend!!!
Oh my gosh..one of your favorites!? Thank you so much for saying that! Means the world to me. I just have bad days & chose to share a bit in hopes that others will feel less alone. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face. 💜
What a great vlog ...such a group of talented ladies, including yourself. I can't imagine how much laughter and fun you girls had. Your pics of the outdoors are stunning. Can't wait till your next vlog. Go Mill Hill 😂!!
Hi Becca, my long-distance stitchy friend!!! I've been MIA lately which is not good. I just adore this new Vlog style video!! I have not really done much shopping lately. I'm seriously saving to try to get to the PNWSS next year. I need to visit my PNW friends and hug all your necks!! I just love your stitchy group of friends. Thank you so much for sharing!! You all look so happy. Oh and you are a queen enabler with the Mill Hill kits. I have added that PinCushion one to my list for future stash. Oh, never think you have to explain about being depressed or unmotivated. Girrrrrlll, I could tell you some stories. It happens to all of us. Thank you, as always for continuing to shout out my floss bling. I'm trying to get some Christmas loaded in the shop this weekend. Nothing like being last minute LOL. Although I may not be on social much lately, never doubt that I love you to pieces!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
You just made me cry (in a good way) I hope you get to PNWSS next year, I’m going to try too. I love you too, friend! I can’t wait to see what floss bling you come up with! It’s my most favorite stitchy accessory! 💜
I’m enjoying your vlogs! Oh my gosh I’m fighting my Mill Hill obsession watching you feed yours, lol!!! Thank you for being so honest about your mental health struggle! I too suffer from really bad depression and anxiety… pair that up with ADD and it’s your worst nightmare… projects half done, over 300 kitted projects, and so much crafting supplies I cannot move too much in my apartment… you are not alone (in the depression part… you can move around and decorate your home!!) ❤❤❤ to you my friend!!
Beautiful stitching Becca.Sending you hugs.
Thank you 💜
