This is such a bad take. The No Limit Chronicles, that came out a couple of years ago, was fantastic - great insight, funny stories, and good viewership. If the skepticism comes from the possible DIY production value that P is known for, then I get that. But Joe is underrating the impact No Limit had on the rap game and it's stories. To think the Wu-Tang series is more marketable and "interesting" just shows the typical east coast bias when it comes to other movements in hip-hop.
I agree with Ice and Joe on this. Master P is known for doing things on the cheap when the money is coming out of his own pocket. For this to be done RIGHT, Master P needs to pitch the premise and story to some executive at ABC, HBO, Comcast, or CBS. It's a great story, but he doesn't need to be the one in charge. He could be a producer and a consultant. As far as running the show, he needs to be as far removed from that process as possible.
Even if the film is low budget, and not done right, I’d tune into the whole thing for No Limit. I’m sure many others from the South and Bay Area would also

I’m from Louisiana and I completely disagree. This show is going to be a hit and if P and Romeo make up Romeo can play a young Master P and it’ll be even better. The only thing that could hinder it is if master P doesn’t get financing and help from outside sources. If he tries to do everything in house it’ll still get watched by people in the south but he gotta have a budget for writers and actors that are actually good at what they do and a professional crew to get the world to watch
This is my issue with us. We always pull and tear each other down publicly. We barely proffer advice and ideas on how to make things better. Joe is clearly trippin'. I stayed with the Jewish people for three months. The way the tell 'truth with love' was a learning for me. No wonder they are one of the most prosperous and untouchable communities in the world. Or being rich in the street before rap like Birdman. Or eating 10+ year charges without ratting like BG Mac & C Murder. Double digit counts of Bodies were being dropped between Cash Money & No Limit's hoods. New Orleans was the murder capital during all of this too educate yourself New York rappers were never that active.

I’m from Louisiana and I completely disagree. This show is going to be a hit and if P and Romeo make up Romeo can play a young Master P and it’ll be even better. The only thing that could hinder it is if master P doesn’t get financing and help from outside sources. If he tries to do everything in house it’ll still get watched by people in the south but he gotta have a budget for writers and actors that are actually good at what they do and a professional crew to get the world to watch
