THANK YOU! For being the first Modeling UA-camr I've come across to mention washing the parts before construction. I have been on a 30+ year hiatus from modeling, and that used to be a big deal, making sure the parts were clean to eliminate crazing of the paint job.

That's puzzling me too! 50 years hiatus.

How am I living my life without this kit in it!?!?!?! I am a massive Pz IV fan!

HOLY COW that thing is a beast. This is going to be an epic and VERY LONG build. I just realised that building this will be like building two Fine Molds Millennium Falcons back to back (that's about 900 parts) so I look forward to the many hundreds of episodes to come!

+Modelmaking Guru ....You think THIS is big....?! ;-) Try ordering a 1:6 scale tank !! Forget the model, look at the box ! Your neighbours will think the mailman is delivering a washing machine !But I agree. Even for an experienced modeler, this kit is BIG !! I have seen plenty of them on model shows and decided to buy two of them, myself. And those are the ones with low detail and few parts. I have the greatest respect for anyone who dares to start a model like the one in this video ! ;-) If built well, they are true show stoppers.

+telescopereplicator Oh lord, I forgot there are 1/6 scale kits. Jeez.

Wow! That's one HOOOOJ kit!!! Thanks for the talk through Ted, it's convinced me in need this one... I've got the 1/16 tiger from that magazine collection a few years back, and can report the engine alone is like a 1/35 kit in itself!
Can't wait to see the build start, cheers Ted :)

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'm looking forward to this and I'm sure you can tell it's not going to be an overnight build.. There's a LOT of parts in those boxes!

Hi Ted, I really enjoyed your video. I am relatively new to model making. I’ve had a tank model (Tiger 1) on the shelf from last Christmas. Your video has awakened that fire. So i’m looking forward to the next episodes, to follow along. I also enjoy your Monday video. Have a good break. Cheers.

This kit looks like so much work, should keep you busy for a long time.
    Good luck ;)

Boxes within boxes! And even the little boxes look bigger than most 1/35 scale tank kits.
I think this would keep me busy for oh, 5-10 years.

Just bought this myself. Looking forward to it's arrival. Definitely not cheap, But I could justify spending that much on it.
Since it doesn't come with crew however, does anyone know where to get crew figures that can be put inside the tank? like sitting in their seats and whatnot.

    I built Trump's 1/16th T-34-76 and it's a great kit. No fit problems.

Emodel I just order 00922 from your site, I was just wondering if there is much different between 00920 and 00922. Thanks.

Great kit, but personally no longer have the patience to build these kits up. Good alternative is the Heng Long 1/16 radio control tanks. Ready built and the fun is adding more detail and repainting them. And of course you can then drive them around. And at least half the price of these kits.

Not wind like the English wind (to wind up), but rather wind (like blowing wind) a windhund is a windhound (Greyhound), a dog as quick as the wind.

Beautiful detail and all. But for the price, I'd rather have something /16th, r/c, and air soft. Who when you'll need to entertain yourself at the pets expense.
