Both happened. Jewish organizations did buy some land but Gilad is referring to the majority of Palestinians who had their lands and homes taken (not bought) from them by Israel. During the fighting Palestinians were forced to flee out of fear for their lives and after the fighting Israel would not allow them to return home nor did they receive any compensation. Of course most don't want compensation, they want to return to their ancestral lands.
Thanks for posting this Santarchy. One question: At 1:02:30 he talks about John Zorn, says how it's strange he identifies as a Jewish Saxophonist, says they don't talk...Then the video was edited. It seems to cut out what followed, right at one of the points that was most interesting to me! (where he's talking about the three different forms of Jewish ID). So, what happened?
@Fonyod2008 Jews are indigenous to Israel, 40-50% of Israeli Jews are of Arab ancestry. Peer review by the National Academy of Sciences prove that most Jews are Semitic people, including Ashkenazi Jews. Palestine was a region never a sovereign country. It is where there was a sovereign Jewish kingdom for 400 years continuously. Jewish people have a legal right, historic connection, many remained a continuous presence in that land for 3,300 years, were there 1500 years before the Muslims!
Maybe somebody can answer my question. i can´t understand Gilat´s declaration at the beginning of this conference. He says that jsut after the war, jewish people went to palestine and exiled 70 to 80% of palestians. Ok but i thought that jewish lobbies had bought the land? So where is the matter? i really can´t understand this argument¿ Have i missed something¿
@Fitplayer66 Wow, thank you for helping me realize that Europe is geographically, culturally, and historically monolithic. Who exactly "told" the Jews to go to Palestine?
@Fitplayer66 Sorry but believe that mexico could make a war against the USA in 1916 is just a foolish non sense point of view, that's not serious one minute. In 1846 USA invaded Mexico only to take Millions of Km. The american press change radicaly his point of view after the Balfour declaration, not after the "Zimmermen telegram". Make some research too...
@lynchie3000 I didn't realise this was a 'debate'. I could tell you that zionism today has nothing to do with whatever this guy may have said, but I know that reality has nothing to do with your brand of paranoia.
@ByTheShortAndCurlies so lets get this straight: you just want me having to respond to your questions by force, otherwise im all that nice stuff that youre saying? remember your mother to educate you for a change pal

Three people hate the truth.
@lynchie3000 Maybe that's because Israelis don't hate and know how to forgive. Unlike Gilad who thrives on hate.
I want to shake that man's hand. Great mind and great heart!

@Fitplayer66
Yes, the same for the Irish in United kingdom. Were Irish and Mexican able to make a war against England or USA? certainly not.
@unruhLEE1 I'll have to go back to my original tape. I might have had to switch tapes.
@lynchie3000 There was really no need to re-confirm your conspiraloony credentials.

@BashuUp
How observant of you do you want a cookie?
@lynchie3000 No I'm not. Is that OK with you?
So, the Zimmermentelegram was a conspirationist theory without sense! :)
@lynchie3000 When it comes to a boring and predictable I am in owe of Atzmon and his cronies.
@alfonsoebennez Oh dear, get your head out of the sand and see what the State of Israel is doing to its neighbours.
@lynchie3000 lol, well he's dead too. I think it's safe for you to go out.
@allthings509
Complete and utter rubbish talk about UA-cam brings out all the fools and complete lunatics.
