I'm an audio engineer in concert sound for 30 years. This is an excellent review of the mic. You allowed me to see how this unit performs. My favorite was the use of the skateboard to move quickly away from the camera. Great youtubing! Thank you!
Thanks mate!
@Frank Baird, since you're an expert, would you recommend these for 50-60$? I'm currently between buying them or the Synco G2 for 150$, i want to buy something that won't break the bank but won't be garbage either. Thanks!
@@joannisk I'm an expert at live event sound. This is video production sound, a little different, but audio is audio to me. I have used these mics just a few times and thought it worked well. If you look around at some of my more recent videos you can hear me using it. it works for what I do and wasn't that expensive. Best,
@@frankbaird9672 Thanks a lot! I'll take a look!
Awesome review, you done the range test, compared it to others, told us about it pros n cons, & you even let us hear the back ground noise or the lack there of... Really good review thank you :)
Glad it was helpful!
I think it really sounds awesome. For such an inexpensive set, really amazing. Thanks for testing!
Glad you like it!
AMAZING REVIEW> Thank you so much, brother. I bought this device based on your review and input.
Appreciate the style you do your review. Very good job. And helpful in making my purchase decision.
Thanks
Great review. I will consider. Thank you.
Thank for the great review. I like their microphones but I tried their VHF wireless mice and it was just not very good... but think that the Comica Boom X-D2 is just a bit better (also cost a little more)
Thank you for making this video, excelente review and explanation.
Cool demonstration. I am used to adjusting my levels during the shoot, so I don't need two channels. In fact, I have never changed the levels in post. The performance is really good, probably as good as Rode which is so hyped up. The only problem might be in crowded conference halls or open air wedding ceremonies where there is interference, and distance matter a lot. Most importantly, this the cheapest, good quality wireless mic available today. Thanks for the convincing test results.
this might shock a few people but the audio quality might be better that the rode wireless go, I'm planning on comparing those 2 soon
@@RageStudios I bought this set up yesterday and Amazon delivered it really fast in spite of all the current problems. Admire and appreciate Amazon. The sound is really good. I found a small issue and that is to do with the pins. The pins that go into the receiver and transmitters are not tight enough and might get detached in the middle of recording. Someone has to constantly monitor sound. I have not used it in real-life office environment where I usually shoot interviews. So I will tell you about that later. Thanks for everything. Cheers!
Germane Vision mine doesn’t have that issue, you might want to contact the company, another tip is to use good batteries
Great video!
Thanks for the visit
Thank you. very good review.
Great review bro...What is the difference between this model and wm8 pro k2...I prefer this being compact and less weight
Sounds Great. I have just purchased this unit for my UA-cam channel.👍
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you,very helpful 👏🏻👏🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Great video - BOYA are an excellent brand and make some awesome audio gear. I much prefer this to the rode go mainly due to using external batteries dont like them built in like the rode go. Sound quality wise could not tell the difference between them so I’d rather save over £50 or invest the saving in a better quality mic to go with.
Thanks for this Videos!
Thanks for watching
Thank You !!
You're welcome!
Thank you greatly for this review.
I guess I could use it as external microphone for ZOOM Meetings on MacBook, right ?
i have the same question
Tq good info, can you share, what lens ..mm you use indoor?
Rf 35mm f1.8
Thanks for that useful review.
is it working with the laptop or PC for the conference calls like Zoom?
No idea, haven't tried
The sound is good
Indeed they sound very good
thank you
Great review. I was offered this Boya set used vs. Wireless GO II new for a cheap price and based on this review I tried to give it a go. (Y)
Btw., what is the acessory at 1:43 called? A phone recording frame? Trying to look one for myself.
Ulanzi phone rig
Awesome man, it doesn't have numbers to show the level but i guess I can get used to it
I got used to it quickly
@@RageStudios was there a time where you have one transmitter was way lower than the other?
@@singerreid4624except a couple of exceptions, I always used 1 transmitter.
@@RageStudios cool
If using both transmitter, does the audio recorded as left and right channel or they blend together?
They blend
How long it can work on a one battery? (or rechargable accumulator)
I think is about 4 hours
I want it
Подскажите пожайлуста если купить 2 набора BY-WM4 pro K2 и K6 могут ли 4 человека использовать одновременно в одном видео? Тоесть один приёмник может принимать 4 передатчика?
Have you used a recorder? Wav or mp3?
Question, So it's duel channel but one single audio track to the camera?
Yes
cAN we use this with go pro hero 7 with external adapter for mic?

hello, can this product use for fb live video?
What is the best wireless mic for interviews and podcasts in the same price range? Is wm8 any better?
you can buy the wm4 with single unit here even cheaper, to be honest the audio coming out of this is very impressive, looks cheap but sounds great, I'll leave a link below for you:

Is the mic still doing good bro? Nice video 👍
Yes, solid budget system
Can I use this for the sound to come through a mixer while I'm also recording?
no idea, I guess yes
Can you plug in a microphone to the transmitter packs?
yes
Could you add a 3rd mic to the transmitter if you wanted?
cant
can connect to pc?
Did you edit much in post or Raw?...audio
Raw
Do you know what the "Line In" input is for on the Transmitter?
Line level sources, such as from a phone, or audio equipment etc
@@ryanjordan8635 Thank you!
Does this seperates the 2 transmitters? Like lets say the 1 its on the right channel and the second one is on the left. So i can go after and separate them. in case one of the 2 speakers speaks lower or anything else
no
@@RageStudios so they both get mixed up? :(
@@engineerfpv that's right. I mention that in the video as well, check the review I made on the catefo umic8, those can split channel and are much more advance.
@@RageStudios i assumed that you did! but i dont speak your language :/ sorry can you try to add some subtitles in the future?
hi what autonomy has receiver and TX ? this is important !! thanks
Can you tell me how much time the battery lasts?
around 3 hours
around 3 hours
Great review! thanks a lot for that! I'm also looking to the Saramonic Blink 500, any thoughts? ... What's stopping me from buying this setup is the fact that I cannot adjust gains in each transmitter, would that suppose a problem while recording an interview with 2 very different tonalities (high tone of voice and a moderate one)? Any insights around this I'd appreciate :)
im reviewing the saramonic next, stayed tuned
Can you give me advice is this mic good option for online yoga classes? I move a lot during classes. If is not what is your recomedation? Thanx a lot :)
@@danijelakarac7103 This Boya is on a budget honestly! I finally decided for the Saramonic because of the 2 channels and I'm very happy overall! it's very small and handy, you could use the built-in mic for your yoga classes. Check if not Rode Go! another good option.
What type of battery using ?
AAA
All type of AAA batteries can use bro??
@@sreymomhan7767 yes, ithink so
Hello friend, I'm a beginner in this world of microphones. I'm looking for a wireless microphone to use more on cell phones and from what I noticed the Boya models are very cost-effective. However, I saw that there are other models from Boya that are older and that looked very good too and I wanted to know what is more worth buying today. For example: Among Boya BY WM4 PRO 2, Boya BY WM Mark II, Boya BY WM6 and Boya BY WM M8, which of these would you indicate more for the cost benefit to me that I will use to make homemade recordings, for trips, nothing professional.. ? I understand that Wm6 and Wm8 because they are UHF tend to have a better transmission / reception in the signal, but the others are very distant around quality? Another point I found is that the WM4 pro is smaller in size, more portable without those previously large and fixed, right? Anyway, I would like your help to choose the best option. Big hug.
this mic I review have an older version which is single transmitter much cheaper and very similar in quality
@@RageStudios Between BOYA BY mark II and BOYA BY WM4 PRO, which would you indicate? I believe they are the oldest models ..
