Thanks i agree about Owen. I have good news for you. I have one more they sent me that is a modular style set. So that one will come out sometime in the next few weeks.
Hay the other guy has another guy to join him! Really great opinions from him made it a great video! Thanks for giving us something else other than Lego 😊
Thanks for the kind words. I will share them with my nephew. I’m glad at least some people are finding some value or interest in these videos. My whole goal is not to get anyone to buy anything. My goal is just to show people other options so they can make their own decisions. I love so much about Lego but I also know that competition is good for us as the consumer because it leads to better options for us.
@@jasonsbricksin5 honestly I have no interest in buying the alternatives to Lego myself however like you I appreciate that there are other options and that why I enjoy your videos on them! I love the variety that you try to bring into your videos! Something that both you and Alex are trying to do with your reviews! I'll keep watching 😁
STOP REVIEWING PANTASY!!! I saw your review on the steampunk train station and bought it immediately using your discount code. (Thank you for that). It is such an amazing set. I used it without the train as a station for my orient express and it works perfectly for that. I can barely afford all the LEGO sets I want and now you got me interested in PANTASY. They really do raise the bar. Thanks for introducing me to an amazing alternative and I may never forgive you for that, lol. Keep up the great work.
This is too funny. When I saw your first line I thought this comment was going a different direction lol. Well I have bad news I do have one other set already they sent me at the same time that I will be reviewing in a couple weeks that is a modular style building. Just figured I better give you a heads up lol.
The more you review these sets, the more tempted I am in purchasing one. Yeah, i know people gonna say it's NOT LEGO. Yeah, it's not, but it is looking like competition. All those printed pieces look great. I have a few questions. 1. Have all the sets you reviewed had the same quality of clutch? 2. Is the quality of materials consistent? 3. Is the print quality comparable to LEGO or better? 4. Have you tried to mix with LEGO and see if they mix well? I could see some of those odd pieces and prints being useful in MOCS.
Here are some answers to your question Hugh 1) The bricks used in the Pantasy sets do seem to have about the same clutch. Out of the four sets I’ve built I really only had issues with a molded parrots clutch. 2) The bricks do seem to have the same quality and consistency in the molding of the bricks. There isn’t any pieces I’ve found to be misshaped in any way. I will say there is a slight difference in the feel as you build and I think some of that is the smooth stud that doesn’t have Lego molded in it. But I don’t think the difference in feel would be noticed by regular folks, just afols. 3) The pad printing it quite well done and the printing quality is comparable to Lego. However I would have to say the way they print across bricks is superior to Lego honestly. If a print runs across multiple tiles, They stick the tiles on a plate so they get one consistent print without the weird gaps we sometimes get with Lego. 4) I have not mixed part too much honestly. However I have placed my sig figs and tested a couple of pieces together and they worked very well together as far as the size, clutch, color, etc. Hope this helps. Maybe I will do a non review comparison video on this at some point.
@jasonsbricksin5 Thanks for the answers. I would be interested in seeing you do a video where you mix their bricks and LEGO together to show the color and clutch. I have also looked at their other set options and seen a Sherlock Holmes set that includes minifigs and some cool looking printed pieces. I also like the looks or their modular bakery. I may give them a chance...
These Pantasy sets are looking awesome, I have my eyes on the Popeye Steam Ship. It was also good to see a younger builders opinion, I think they can be far more open to the alternative brick products than adults are. Lego product quality and build quality, has no doubt gone down hill over the years and I think adults need to accept that and be more open to these awesome alternatives. Another great video and thank you for the Lego alternative content!
OMG Owen you sure did one Splendific job....and I would say you are one super talented young man and looking forward to more from you and sharing your ideas and your opinions you truly did one Outstanding job and Jason always watch ALL of your videos just don't comment you truly are talented and always love what you share and that goes for you Adorable Tonya she really is so fabulous and the two of you together just so make my day!! KIDDO you deserve to have your channel go viral....and you and the other guy (Alex) sorry couldn't help myself as I watch your Tuesdays together and I do watch all his videos too and let me say the two of you have the best Lego videos and wishing you both to go viral and get your awards just so deserved. Can't wait for your next videos that goes for Tonya too! YOU ALL SO ROCK!! I don’t begrudge anyone who only wants to stay with Lego. We all can collect how we like. There are non Lego brands that are very inferior quality however in my experience Pantasy parts have been great quality. So it provides people options to collect at a lower price point. I agree with you rob that people should probably not comment about something if they haven’t actually experienced it.
Owen did a nice job as co-presenter! I also like hearing more opinions about these non-LEGO sets. Keep them coming if you get the opportunity!
Thanks i agree about Owen. I have good news for you. I have one more they sent me that is a modular style set. So that one will come out sometime in the next few weeks.
Nice foodtruck and Owen did it well!
Awesome video and review and I really liked the true surprise that your nephew had when you gave him the food truck. 😁👍

@hughobrien6885 I will be reviewing the bakery soon. That is the other set they recently sent me with the food truck. So I will let you know.

That garish crack down the side panel under the passenger window is a big no..
Nice looking set with lots of detail, great review. People who comment that it's not lego have to try another brand before their opinion matters

I've recently built the funwhole farmers truck my first lighted set and it was a good build
@roblyons8360 nice! I’ve heard good things about the funwhole sets but haven’t actually built any.
