Especially the early morning and early evening passeges, when the sky is full of Ma Nature's pastels! I lived in the S F Bay area for 16 years, and watched "salties" come and go. They may have been impressive, but they just didn't have the grace of the lakers. I'm Phil, down here in AZ, where, for 9 months of the year, I don't have to deal with humidity. Thanks for the many videos of the ins and outs of Duluth I enjoy watching.
I don't know, seems a little nasal-honky compared to others...but considering some of what we get from salties, no complaints at all, no sir. Nicely filmed, the clouds and the light really set up well for this one.
She is a nice looking ship and that lake looked so calm.

Glad you enjoyed it, I really like the quiet, morning arrival, departures the most when "working", its very peaceful to me. small crowds.
I had to laugh a bit at the thought of those folks at the bed and breakfast nearby getting that salute as a wake-up call.
LOL, I feel most of the people that stay in those hotels, B&B's and such in the area are coming to see those ships as well.
Our little visitor center and museum here in the Port of Oswego is named the H. Lee White Museum and yes...she has a great horn!!
