The Chanel quad is really pretty, although it leans on the soft dainty look. The matte is a good transition shade. I love the lilac shade highlight stick and since I have drier skin it doesn’t feel too sticky to me.
The best pressed powder for me has been the Koh Gen Do Luminous - it gives me smooth dolly like finish - and that’s a feat since I am an old boomer 😊
koh Gen do used to make one with an spf 20 it was sooooo good and then got discontinued 😭

I used to have success copy and paste the ingredient list to see if something similar comes up. Companies changed soooo many formulas of the products that I love. In hair care it’s because of the fear mongering around certain ingredients.

Fyi... The Redken "Oil for All" has Cyclopentasiloxane as the first ingredient, as well as the Alterna Caviar shine spray.❣️ I love those face palettes you got for free!! This time of year I struggle with finding a cool bronzer!! I've been using the old Smashbox Step by Step palette with a nice cool contour & bronzer then mixing the two. It was interesting to hear you say you're mixing as well!! On a whim I got the elf putty bronzer in Cabana Cutie which is for really dark people but it's very sheer & red toned, it's great as a base bronzer then a bit of powder bronzer over it. Right now bronzer is my biggest issue. 😢 The Jones Road Dusty Rose is better than most but still not perfect. I just have to go to the Asian market for cool shades, I want to start trying their foundations.😊 I'd love a grwm!! 🤍

I got the Morphe x Ariel face brush set during the sale (similar to yours but without the eye brushes)! Being on the West coast, we have it fairly easy because the Ulta deals start at 11pm. :)

It would seem that the Cyclopentasiloxane is a silicone, maybe thats why they got rid. That Laura Mercier powder was almost like a cream tone colour, quite strange. The lip combo today was gorgeous, loved the eye look too. Would LOVE an updated GRWM :) love that Wet N Wild palette, so cute.
The Morphe brushes actually are natural hair brushes in that set, just FYI. Only two of the brushes are synthetic.
I’m genuinely mind blown 🤯 they are so soft and brushes as nice as these that are natural should be way more expensive, I think perhaps that is why I automatically assumed they were synthetic, I feel like I got a steal 🤭 I’m wondering if the fibers weren’t treated to make them that soft, again there is something about the feel that reads synthetic, I can’t help but wonder with that price, even at full price 🤔 thank you for mentioning that!
