I have Polo 67 and it's just a fantastic fragrance. It's fresh, clean with a decent amount of longevity. Definitely my summer scent this year 💙

When someone says a fragrance "grows on them" it scares me lol. I've had it happen to me with things like Asad, but it makes me wonder what a coworker experiences when it doesn't grown on them :D
Fragrances that "grow on me" I consider as failures as far wearing public goes. If I, as a fragrance hobby had to come around to it, imagine a normal person. Worth keeping collection to wear for myself, but not in public.

YSL Myself grew on me, i liked how clean and fresh it smelled, but the sweetness reminded me of grape jolly rancher candy, and thats all I would smell. Eventually that went away, very enjoyable scent to wear.
There’s a new Eros flanker coming out 😳 and it looks like it’s a summertime type of scent.
JPG Le male in the navy is basically a fresh summer version of Eros

Don’t sleep on Polo 67. Its a solid anytime scent that you can wear to the gym or dressed up and performs like an EDP.

Between montagne and Paris corner wich of the scents is the closes to LV imagination. and performs better?

I actually got ysl myself for my birthday last year. My birthday is in August
I usually avoid videos with 'compliment(s)' in the title but clicked when I saw Individuel Tonic in the thumbnail, had my eye on that for a possible 'blind buy', sounds interesting. Apart from teenagers/early 20s guys I'm surprised people would buy and wear a scent just to get compliments but I suppose it's the same kind of people who drive certain cars to get validation from others (even though they simply purchased these things, not design or make them!).
I've tried Althair a few times and just can't get into it. It's just not for me. That said, it really does seem to appeal to people and garners a lot of compliments.
I like Nautica Oceans.

Yea it's still selling the US, tho I've been hearing rumours that it's been discontinued everywhere else except the US
Talked to a Rep who said they scrapped the idea to discontinue it in the US. But everywhere else will have limited availability going forward cause it sells better in the US than anywhere else.

Completely agree. I wear stuff that I like, even if I smell like a lemon sugar cookie with vanilla icing.

Compliments for me are last on my list of why I wear them, the single most important reason why I wear them is because I love the way they smell and the way they smell on me...

Buying most JPG scents... even at full retail is more miss than hit in the US. NO Paradise Garden, or even Le Beau Parfum... even on the JPG website!
Can’t even buy off the website here in Canada and they’ve locked up all the testers at shoppers drug mart (the only store in my town that sells fragrance) so I can’t test anything out at all 😢

Wasn't a fan of Cedrat Boise at all tbh... I described it as Aventus for an old man when I first got my nose on it... Mr smelly is a huge fan of it...and he loves the somewhat classic gentlemanly type of scents, so that should tell you all you need to know if you haven't tried it yet.

Especially in today's world where people don't really interact in public. With that said my compliments have come while wearing Sauvage and Montblanc Legend.
compliments sure are nice to get once in a while, but they’re not the reason we stick to this hobby. the amount of videos on compliments is nuts. it gets clicked well and it’s the only thing some fragrance influencers are able to deliver, but i know that you have more taste and expertise than that, been watching you for years
Terra nova is my most complimented fragrance, right next to Eros Epd. For some reason Terra nova is popular with the Mexicans. You got hombres out here dude😂

Here's how to actually maximize the chance of getting compliments:
1. Buy almost any mass appealing, easy wearing designer fragrance, bonus points if it's one of the most popular and best-selling.
2. Spray it enough such that people around you can smell it, but not such that it's overbearing.
3. Look like a respectable, approachable human.
4. Hang out around other people.
That's it.
5. 15 sprays of red tobacco
Let me fix this for you.
Step 1: Be attractive.
That's it. You can add the rest of the steps to your tastes. If you're hot, even encre noir will get you compliments because now you're "mysterious."
