He were voted best guitarist ever 40 years ago by Kerrang. He were never underrated. He became world famous already on their second album. The first album were in Norwegian With Dag Engebretsen on vocals.
Hard to believe we’re approaching the 40th anniversary of the first album. Tony and the band sound great, which can’t be said of many bands of this era with their original singer. I’m looking at you, Vince Neil.
TNT were a local band where i lived in younger days and first time i heard TNT. In fact they even played on national TV NRK in Norway with a viking ship. They only had one album released and it were singed in Norwegian with their first singer Dag Engebretsen. On second album Tony Harnell joined and will always be remembered as the voice of TNT.
At 60 Tony is still doing pretty fucking solid man, he’s smart and doesn’t try to shred himself overly because when he was singing these songs in the 80s NO ONE, least of all him, thought he’d be singing them at 60 !!! There are few dudes with his range back in the day that can remotely touch those notes as they get a lot older and have a lot of wear and tear on their voices. I’m impressed ❤❤❤ wish these guys would get over here once before I die … @Todd La Torre dude TNT opening for Queensryche would fucking kill it man !!!
so good to see TNT back with Tony (...again), I do hope they can keep things going, get new material out and do some touring. I was fortunate enough to meet Tony a few times by chance in NY during the "Intuition" / "Realized Fantasies" period, always gracious and kind. TNT never got the support they should have had in the states (like many during the 80->90s shift), but their influence and status with fans of melodic music is undeniable. Tony's legendary voice, Ronni's virtuoso style and Diesel's solid groove are one of those unique chemistry's - catch them if you can folks and appreciate them.

I saw them the first time in 1986 in Norway. I believe it was the first tour w Tony. Stage Dolls as support. Going to see them at Tons of Rock festival next friday. This video makes me look very forward to that now. Thanks.

結構なマニアなんですね！最近はlovekillersが結構よかったです
