sure, unplug one or the other :) My point was to create a balance of solid low mids and highs while using the darker more textured metal envelope 6SQ7 preamp tubes with the 6L6's. cheers, tv

Interesting name though, as You had posted My Daddy's guitar (Jimmie Widener's Emporer from the Texas Playboys) and now I see this old fashioned ampliBettie Pphier with my Mother's name ! I am also named "Bettie" as she was and we spell our names with the "IE" for Bettie...We were both dark blond with strawberry blond highlights. So fun to see this, although I get the hunch it is named after Bettie Page , the stripper if it is on an ampliphier with Bettie Blondshell. ( although she was Black haired) but fun to see. "bettie" is just a vintage rockin term for a good lookin gal. "hey fellas lets go down to the club and check out all the betties" ...something like that. :) ps. I love the Texas Playboys with all my soul!
