I am a UA-cam fanantic! I watch it mostly for vacation research and entertainment. I first watched your NCL Escape vlog because my wife and I were going on it. We are platinum rewards members with NCL but had never been on the Escape. Well I have to say you nailed it all!! Informative and very entertaining!! Outstanding editing and production!! James you fricken crack me up and your family is adorable!! (Brandi your pretty entertaining also, lol) Needless to say I am a subscriber and enjoyed this vlog as well as the Carnival Magic. Look forward to many more vlogs, we live in south Florida but I am sorry to say I am original from Michigan so GO BLUE!!
Thank you so much! We hope that one day this will be our full time jobs lol! For now... We work and do this as a second job , so it takes a little time for us to perfect them 😜
Absolute best travel Vlog channel hands down! My husband and I watch your videos like we’d watch reality TV and are extremely entertained! We book a cruise on NCL escape after watching your videos! It’s also a huge plus that you’re fellow Ohioans!
While you are correct that in saying Isla is known for underwater adventures, fishing, shopping and beaches, you undersold Playa Norte. This beach is regarded as one of the top 10 beaches in the world. In addition, the main thing next to Playa Norte that Isla is known for is the food and experiencing the Mexican culture. There are over 100 places to eat on the island and all sooooo good! You briefly touched VRBO and Air B&B when describing the island. There are two things I tell people about those. Once you have stayed in a VRBO and rented a golf cart as your transportation, two things will happen. 1) You will never go on vacation again in Mexico to places like Cancun, Cabo, Playa del Carmen, etc. And 2) you will never stay in another all inclusive ever again. The island is truly the #1 best way to vacation in Mexico.
Love this series! I like the very fair review of the "worst rated" resort. As usual, you guys are entertaining and your videos are 5 star! Keep up the good work!!!!
Forget Cancun. Go to stay on the island at a Airbnb and eat at all the great restaurants. Take pesos with or exchange money. You missed the beach at Mia resort. I go there everyday to feed the fish with bread or crackers. I lived there 3 months this past winter. I walked every where no need to rent a cart. You can always jump on the bus for only .20 pesos. Isla Mujeres is not the place for all inclusive because the restaurants are great. Go to the convenience stores for beers they are cheaper and you can walk anywhere with a beer there. I’m living in DR now but miss Isla Mujeres. I’ve been there probably 15 times. You need to go to Isla Holbox too.
When you said you walked down on the "rocks" of Punta Sur you are actually walking on corral that had evolved hundreds of thousands of years ago when this area was under water. BTW, those are Frigate birds above you. They are the coolest birds on the island. The only time they land is to eat and bare their young. They even sleep while flying. If you are shit on by one of these birds it means you will have good luck all your life. Playa Norte is stupid busy, one is better off to go to Playa Centro. That is why we book a hotel with their own private beach in the area, no crowds. We book 4 weeks on Isla every year.
