Yeah it's easy, if you know the technique behind it. But for beginners who didn't know the technique, such as me, it would be very hard or even impossible to play. Besides, to play that, you need hours of practice on the techniques used in the song to play the song proficiently. While the song looks easy for you, it may not be the same for others like me.
Don't complain when someone ask you an expensive pay for a service they just did in a minute. You don't pay for the actual service, you payed for the experience they took to reach that level.
I mean if you've been playing high level guitar since you were a child I feel like you'd be able to get a grasp on any song. Helps if you learn music theory and have perfect pitch, inspired me to finally quit playing :')
He knows that technique already even when he was very young, his songs are harder to learn. Once you learn how to play fight by kotaro, this is quite easy to learn

Exactly what i was going to say too! A lot of technique and major elements used on this song reminds me of Fight by Kotaro. (Same tuning, similar strumming hand movements, similar progression at the beginning… etc.) And Sunghua already mastered that song when he was like only 11 or something. He is a genius, but few people see that he also worked very hard to achieve his place today.
Ehhhh imo a lot of differences in fight, phunkdified is much more based on tapping and nail attacks are sorta non existent, and the slides are like damn… my opinion though but yea

Bro barre chord is pretty easy all you have to do is try not to really push the strings very hard and keep all the force divided on the strings in other words keep the pressure balanced...you'll get there. It took me one month to get there.

The main riff of the song is really simple but require the right technique for it to sound correct, so given that Sungha Jung is familiar/accustomed to the techniques used in the song its really not very hard to replicate, its only a matter of getting the pattern down, not to take anything away from the skill that is required.
It is basically the same pattern as the first three notes in smoke on the water, just with hammer on and slap on the three low strings. There, now an infant can understand the composition.

I'm familiar with this because I've been following them for almost 10 years. I'm not saying that Sungha is not good. He is technically good, he's great actually and I can say that he's one of the GOAT in the fingerstyle arena. it's just it doesn't surprise me watching this. that's all. and also, these guys (Sungha Jung and the rest) meet in Thomas Leeb's Bootcamp where fingerstyle guitarists gather and share ideas.

Composition is a different beast from doing a cover of a piece, but if he did compose a whole song in a similar amount of time learning phunkdified then he's truly built different.
This is incredible. It’s because he is naturally experienced with the guitar and he makes it look like magic to us. He knew the techniques already. I think the most amazing thing is his memorization of the notes on the fretboard.
