Even though I’ll probably never try this, watching someone with mad skills is always a treat, and to have you explain what’s going on, makes it easier to appreciate a performance

Vary good videos! I been doing this for 2 days and have done most basics, also overlord, dragon wrap and empty knot knee shots just by watching your tutorials. no expert but got a lot work to get everything down and mix combos. would love a video of just some basic combinations.

Love your content, so inspiring! I watched you spin dart at Camp Q last year and have been hooked ever since, thank you for being a teacher. We are spinning out here in Colorado and learning a lot from you

I have yet to figure out how to do this without my hip popping out. I have all kinds of joint problems. Anyone have any suggestions for a modified version?

Maybe just lift your leg less? Keep the movement minimal?

My online course covers getting into rope dart and well as a lot of theory and rope dart dance moves if that helps? Here is the link: www.ropedart.thinkific.com
Or you can email me if you have any specific questions: flowmayhem@gmail.com

Xíren Seo I would say try to get really good at balancing without the rope dart first, then add it in once you can pivot on one foot really easily?

keeping track of the dart is definitely scary but keep in mind that if you mess up it’s simply because you moved to quickly to move yourself away from the dart. once you’ve started swinging the dart keep it in the same line of trajectory and DO NOT give or release any extra rope/chain. with out the weapon, start by lifting your leg to the appropriate height and pivoting in place. start slow and infront of a mirror. you’ll look goofy but practice makes better. once you’ve got down a smooth pivot swing the weapon slowly and try to imitate the movement from the video.
