    This was the BEST explanation I’ve seen to date. I thought there was something wrong with my technique because I’m the person taking forever to part. I’m now confident that it’s the process. You explain that very well. Thank you 🙏🏽

      Parting is my problem and tucking the hair can be difficult if u don't have enough hair.

  • @kandacekandace
    @kandacekandace Рік тому +402

    One of my weaknesses is the consistency of having the braids the same exact size. I feel like some of my braids are bigger or smaller than others. Anyone else have that problem? Also going to the braiding shops sometimes I don’t feel like my hair is full enough. I know my hair is thick and long and I always say I will pay extra so I can get the fullness I desire but she doesn’t do it. Should I try someone else? I have been going to her for years and I’m one of those loyal customers so what do you think?

      OMGGGG YES 😩 I hate that so much when the braids are not ALL the same size 😑. I think if u keep telling her about the size u want and she keeps not listening it’s about time u do find someone else who can fill ur requests 👌🏽

    Don’t sell yourself so short! Your vocabulary is more than sufficient. Also, your “crispy” partings are _beautiful!_ I’ve seen ladies that have braids with janky parts and it it makes the whole style look shoddy. Even if it’s just 2 French/dutch braids, it makes such a huge difference!

    I’m so happy you said start off with smaller braids if your just starting off learning to do knotless braids that helped me out so much. I haven’t done braids in years but my oldest daughter is in hair school and she has a lot of clients so her little sister isn’t priority anymore which is understandable, but my sisters still do hair and they were like stop paying so much money and start learning the new styles when my 18 year old can’t do my 16 year old daughters hair and your teaching is wonderful. Good job I'm a good corn rowing person but I'm trying to do the knotless braid. How do you interplace the braid within the hair while braiding? I don't catch that part properly

    This is a good video but how do you add the extension in? Does it go over your hair? Does you do you split it up? Is it even I don’t know you need to show how you lay the extension in desert go underneath my goodness somebody I watched about 15 videos and no one is explaining how you add the extensions in

    One of the most informative tutorials!! I’m not a braider but this is good information for the client because it lets us know what to expect and what separates the professionals from the amateurs when they both charge the same price and also allows us clients to communicate our expectations better!
    Yes you did that!

    If you don’t add hair consistently for size purposes, what about the length? How do you keep the same length? I have trouble with sizes, some smaller, some bigger, and the length differs by the time I get on top of the head.

    Great tutorial! Thank you! Do you consider the length that you want the braids when you are adding the hair? For example, my daughter is 10yo and I really do not want her braids down her butt. I have 52in but will it be incredibly longer if I add hair 5-6 times? If it winds up too long, can I cut the ends without it looking too unnatural?
