Yes people need to understand that Kensington is just one small part of a big city. In fact the new mayor has cleaned it up so hopefully the world will have to look elsewhere for sick entertainment. You should watch Philly drone vids. I have many! =)

Yes, I'm from that area, I'm in my 50s, this area has been like this since I was a kid. The current interest has some of us feeling a bit suspicious about the intention. I refuse to record there. It is so horrible to record people instead of helping them! I'm in the public health field, and I know how hard it is to assist with little funding provided to the non-profits trying to make a difference. I have severe concerns about what the Mayor just did for many reasons, but the top reason being that we just do not have enough available shelters to assist all the people they just moved. We've seen this before many times, they promote cleaning up and moving ppl but they do not first address where they can go and as we saw with Frankford, they usually do it when there's an potential real estate purchase. It makes our job (public health workers) very difficult to help those that need so much support (can you tell it's my passion to help, lol) what I also think ppl don't know is that this is about 6 or 7 blocks, there are plenty of blocks & streets around there that are nice.
