I wonder why the tall spray at the center of the fountain is not on?

Fantastic. We were there on a hot May day last year, and the trees along the Parkway & by the Rodin Museum were a life saver, for sure. So nice to be able to sit in the shade when it's hot. I would love to see some substantial traffic calming & pedestrianization in front of the Art Museum. That's a lot of lanes to cross to get to the museum, with a lot of crazy drivers who like to ignore lights. Probably the scariest spot I experienced while in Philly.

I love that street art and murals are becoming more accepted. We've got some great stuff here in the DC area. Even my tiny hometown of Bangor, Maine, where any kind of change or improvement usually results in near open rebellion from locals, they've embraced street art with some cool new murals over the last few years.

I see you passed The Philly Game Shop. I visited there last year. Folks were very nice & welcoming. The thrift shops look fantastic. Great way to furnish an apartment if you needed. I love the old photos and some of the slightly tacky art.

I remember this wall Iris, good to think about 🥶as it was 90 degrees 🥵 far too soon this spring a week or so ago.

Great walk and info on movie homes. The Sixth Sense movie was such a surprise ending I watched it over again. As to the two jerks that tried to intimidate you, they need to bone up on constitutionally protected activity that you are doing. I can tell by your voice you were a little worried for yourself. If they want, must have or expect privacy they need to stay indoors at home. Looked to me at 4:54 they intentionally crossed the street just to be more aggressive. Be careful🙄🤔😵‍💫 out there.

That was some walk Iris. Brought back some memories. We would ride our bikes from 20th and Green to the bridge. We had to carry the bikes up steps to the walk path. Now this was back in 1952/54 or so. I was 10 to 12 years old, born 1942. I see you are allowed to ride a bike on the path too now. As I recall you had to walk your bike on that path the "whole way", riding the bike was not allowed at all. Of course us kids rode them anyway, We had the walkway to ourselves, seeing someone walking was rare, at least the times we were there. I may be remembering the bike riding rule wrong. Maybe you or someone else can let me know. thanks for the nice walk.😀😀😀
