Spotlight Series 3 - Avyukth Madhavan R - 'mAmava sadA janani' - a Swathi Tirunal kriti

Having travelled world over performing and conducting workshops for youngsters and others aspiring to excel in music, I was so impressed by the talent that lay within each of them. I was convinced that there must be a better platform for them to showcase their music and thus was born the idea of ‘Spotlight’! To put a spotlight on their talents and present them to the world.
The golden period of music distribution was when we had cassettes, double albums and video discs released. But as technology has progressed and widened the reach in such a simplified manner, physical releases seem to have got redundant.
Social media has the most widespread reach and the ability to multiply its viewers with ease. Hence this mode of presenting talent from Sudhaarnava Academy.
The third in the Spotlight Series features Avyukth Madhavan R.
Avyukth is a native of Chennai who exemplifies extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication, particularly in the realm of music. His journey through various competitions not only demonstrates his exceptional skills but also underscores his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Supported by his family and nurtured in an educational environment, Avyukth continues to illuminate and inspire others with his profound passion for music and his relentless pursuit of success. Avyukth's musical odyssey began at the tender age of three under the guidance of his grandmother, Smt. Radha Devi, in Palakkad. Since then, he has been under the tutelage of Shri. Embar T. Kannan mama from Korattur. Additionally, he is undergoing Advanced Vocal Training under the mentorship of Padma Bhushan awardee Smt. Sudha Raghunathan through Sudhaarnava Academy.
As an aspiring Carnatic musician, Avyukth is deeply committed to mastering the art of music and consistently strives to showcase his talents on various platforms. He has actively participated in numerous competitions, earning accolades along the way, notably excelling in the prestigious Shravya contest organized by Sudhaarnava Academy.
Avyukth's remarkable achievements include his participation in Star Vijay's Super Singer Junior Season 8, where he distinguished himself among the top 20 contestants. This platform provided him with a unique opportunity to showcase his talents to renowned figures who were present as judges. He has also lent his voice to several cine projects as both a playback singer and a member of the kids chorus, thus further solidifying his presence in the music industry.
Welcoming Ayukth to the Spotlight, with more power to music by creating strong legacies that sing the praise of the Almighty with pristine music. Here is a composition of Sri Swathi Tirunal. Please encourage this youngster. Today’s talent is tomorrow’s legacy. And our music will continue over generations, enriching and getting enriched by the music learners and music lovers.
