This is false. Beam pattern is due to the bulb not the ballast and even wattage. Delete this video

Dumbass ordered the wrong bulb type, it is flipped and ground wire is probably on bottom instead of the top for korean cars

Poor comparison. If you believe ballasts are at fault - prove it by swapping them. Compare the HID lamps themselves to pinpoint what is the reason they show so different light pattern. And the colour. C'mon, you put one as 6000 K another as 4500 K. Of course 4500 K produces more light by default.

They make the correct bulbs for your specific headlight housing. You have to know what YOU need. Example: h11 HID bulbs have the ground bar on top so they cast a shadow in CERTAIN headlight housings. The h11B bulb has the ground bar on the bottom so that fixes that issue.

Very true. Especially if it's a Kia/Hyundai that uses H11a bulbs. He probably got an eBay kit with H11b bulbs.

You should be measuring them at 25-30feet.

The pattern has nothing to do with the expensive kit. The issue is type of bulb. Your using wrong type of H11 BULB they come in both H11A AND H11B

wait till dark, park 3o or 40 feet from even white wall and adjust housing accordingly. FLAT GROUND TOO

This video is full of misinformation. You should never compare bulbs of different color temperatures - 4500K will definitely have more lumen output than 6000K even if everything (bulb, ballast etc.) is from the same company. If you compare morimoto 4500K vs morimoto 6000K the 4500K will definitely outshine the 6000K. Also your dark shadow is due to the Xenon bulb return wire - get the correct bulb or rotate it! The shadow will dissapear!

I'm gonna have to call bullshit. I've had this issue before with HID kit's and it was because I did not correctly install them. They were facing up, not straight out. You have projectors witch are awesome for HID/LED's, they focus threw the lens, the light pattern, so it is vary unlikely that a bulb witch meets ISO9001 compliance would have any effect on that.
You are correct on they color, the more money you spend the more accurate the color and output.

4500 K is the worst color. 4300k is OEM and that 4500k looks like a 3500k... Brand of kit? yes ebay bulbs are crappy but I have a xentec $60 kit with Canbus. All metal case are better than slim line ballast.

there is no such thing as an "ebay kit". There are tons of different brands. Horrible comparison
