This is really awesome!!!!! Gonna use this tutorial for my Halloween costume!!!! One question: do you use 2mm or 4mm thick EVA foam?
I use both! Depends on what part of the build it is. For more structural pieces or pieces that need to be able to hold its shape well like the blade, I'd use the 4mm.

Absolutely love this and I am very excited to make it! I was just wondering which size foam you used for each piece? Do you use the thicker foam for the blade and the thinner foam for the staff details? Also would love if you could do a video for making the tesseract!

you dont have template for those
Instead of stacking foam at the end. Why not just heat up the pvc pipe and let gravity warp the tube and let it cool. This can give a more accurate look. And by letting gravity do the work you'll get a more natural angle.

Do you prefer modge podge for sealing as opposed to plastidip?
I have actually never used plastidip! Mod podge has worked well but because it is brushed on, you’ll see brush streaks. So maybe spray plastidip is better!
May I ask... Approximately how many sheets of foam did you use?
I think 2 sheets per thickness should be good! If you need extra just in case you make a mistake, then go for it

This was designed for US letter size, but A4 should be okay too!

What size paper does this template print on? I printed it on 8.5x11 and it looks too small.
8.5x11 should be good! No scaling or anything.
@@PropWay So i think the issue was that the template doesn't include the first 2 pieces that you cut. They go along the length of the pipe. But i think we can figure that part out.
I'm having the same problem! How are you fixing it?
@@zonara8233 i ended up printing each page individually and selecting landscape or portrait that seemed to fix the problem. Also the pieces do look small but once you put them together they are correct.
The pieces that are missing are pretty easy to trace out by hand. They run along the top and bottom of the scepter.
