Set amidst lush landscape, this gem of a house, has such an aristocratic feel...from it's solid pillars which grace it's impressive facade, to the beautifully polished floors , doors and magnificent ceiling . Blessed are you to have inherited such a treasure. It has been maintained exquisitely, and the lady of the house deserves all praise for it. She has invested a lot of her time, attention and her natural good taste to venerate its proud past in every possible way, by paying faithful attention to it's traditional style of architecture. Nowhere has any ugly modern aspect been allowed to spoil it's inherent charm. I loved the priceless collection of vintage furniture, arranged tastefully around the house ,fully complimenting the spaciousness and sweeping lines of this mansion. The only feature of the house which clashed with the general blend of its design elements , I felt was, the colour choice of the floor tiles. I felt that it would have made a huge visual difference, if the floor tiles were done in a lighter colour , to serve as a perfect foil to the rich colours of the antique wood of the furniture, doors ,windows and ceiling. I would have gone for ivory, or pale teal/ cyan or turquoise with rust coloured diamond insets as a contrast.. Thank you for taking us around a place which really stole my heart.
