Thanks for waiting, everyone! I was going to cover Overdose first, but with everything that's happened recently, I decided to make Moonlight first :)
This song is so sad T - T My lyrics are slightly different than the original since I don't directly take the translations (it would sound pretty horrible if I just took the translations because it wouldn't flow), so my lyrics have the same general feel/similar meaning, but are still different. Please don't assume this is what the original means. I'm just explaining what these lyrics mean since I wrote them ^___^
Basically, in my lyrics, it's about unrequited love. The person singing this knows they need to let the other person go without letting the other person know they're crying. If the other person knows they're crying, it'll only weigh down the other person and prevent them from having freedom and going towards what they love. So essentially, whoever's singing this is saying that the other person shouldn't look back or else they'll see the tears that will weigh them down and "get their wings wet" so they can't fly away.
I somehow managed to record this. I don't know how LOL I'm dying now OTL
I've had a sore throat for a long time (as in a whole year - on and off). I think it's allergies from something in my house 'cause when I went to college for 3 days for orientation, it started getting better, but then I came home and it started hurting again. :( Anyway, it's the reason why I haven't uploaded anything in a while D: I need to find out what it is that's causing my sore throat (I don't know what allergies I have :\), and hopefully it'll go away :T

...okay so admittedly I came here thinking I wasn't going to get much because most English covers I hear sounds so stilted and choppy and weird but this is beautiful and flows so much better than I expected and wow I am so sorry for underestimating you. Here we go again. I listened to this song again after a few years. I just realized that this song is a strike right to the bones to those fans who are obsessed with their idols or someone who is in a toxic relationship. When you feel you are being saved but it actually makes you feel like dying if you keep on holding on even though you need to stop . But that dark and deep feelings you had inside doesn't want you to.

Haha, Elise, why do you still have a Christmassy icon up? xD I don't know if you'll see this, but I just wanted to tell you that this song, your cover of Moonlight, is one of the reasons I became an EXO-L, and I feel like I owe you a thanks for that. And even now, after knowing how to sing almost all the EXO-M versions of the EXO songs (can't speak or sing in Korean if my life depended on it, haha~), I still prefer your cover of Moonlight over both of the original version.
