- This is a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom (Serial number 178583) Customized to look/perform like James Hetfield's original 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom "Iron Cross". I've been asked to make a "Non Relic" version, so here it is! You can bid on this guitar on eBay. Listing number: 150344786553.
EMG 81 & 60. I custom fitted the Gold covers & pole pieces on them.
thats a sweet axe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes.
yeah, during the justice and black album tour they sold a limited quantity of lars signature black and white drum kit, signes by lars.... FUCK! I WANT ONE!!!
you should make a video of this drums as well( lucky bastard :D )
can you tell me how to make an irincross
You could put covers on emgs? I might have to try that..just not sure how.
Hey, I have a white custom LP that I'd like to get the iron cross, gold stripe, and the toggle/volume switch put on. Could you do that?
@TheSmyates Yeah James is the only one who has the authentic prototype
does anyone know where can I get that stripes and that iron cross? It´s for my own Les paul
@TheSmyates Gibson made the prototype but then ESP decided to start production with them
give us a vid of the drum kit in the background!!!!!!!
I prefer this to the relic version....it looks nicer without all the ageing
Dat Drumkit!
i wanted to buy a lespaul studio or standard without the electronics etc and bashed up a bit, for like 600$ ( witch i'v seen them sell for) i spend 400$ getting it painted and damaged to look authentic, drop in some emg's ad im set :)
hey! thanks for the info. And do you know something about that stripes?
Has this guitar had a re-fret? The frets just look thicker than normal Gibbo ones. Are they extra jumbos?
is it bad to say that i also want the drum set behind that guitar
How much does it cost to make one like this without the distressing? Great job btw! The ESP one doesn't look too bad to me but yours is definitely better.
with the iron cross on the body is it just screwed in or is there spaces between it?
🤘💓🤘
where do u find the iron cross metal thing
Do you still do this work and if so, what is the typical time for completion?
@falen6969 You might think that because Gibsons serial nuber system is fucked up. You could get a late 70's model, and the serial number could match a 60's one.
am i dreaming or oyu have a lars drum w/ signature on back?????
brass nut ?
what does james have on his original iron cross ?
hey, i'm just curious... if i got a black gibson custom for you to customize like this, how much would you charge?
the tama is signed by lars ulrich?
Hey! How did you make that iron cross? I want one on my guitar :D
me to, but to an Epi Lp Custom
the guitar is cool but i care more about the drum kit behind it
Hey How much for the Lars Ulrich signature drum kit?
how much it cost u?????????????
@xanitech its a real gibson but hes modified it obviously. he will obviously tell the buyer its an original LP but modified. hes not that stupid man :S
@MegaTallicaCovers I kinda disagree but that's neither here nor there your opinion, this guitar would not be a true if it wasn't a Les Paul as the real one was.Sorta like how i don't like the ESP Iron Cross because it's just not the true Iron Cross (or as the original Les Paul one was called "Uncle Milty",weird name).
@VintageSalesInc why would people buy a vintage guitar in the first place? i've got an epiphone SG gothic...i dont fucking care its not an gibson (i've played some vintage gibson SG actually) it was like over 9000 times cheaper than a nice looking Gibson and it plays a lot smoother in my opinion.
so why would you be all like "oh look at me i'm so awesome i can afford an expensive vintage guitar which may not even play good"...its all about taste and how it plays in your opinion
ebay....the stripes are like 10$, but i saw the cross for 2-300 bucks....might as well get some tools and do it yourself
umm... i want one.. i dont HAVE one... srry...
@futis49 The end of the line
@Metallicaforever95 its metal
where the fuck did u get lars 92 tama drum kit from?
how the fuck did u get that kit FUCK I WANT ONE and how much did it cost
u made this?
"cause I sold it and made more money on it than what you make in a year! I don't have to play Les Paul Studios like you... I can afford real vintage ones! Haha!
+ this is a gibson
NFS...
i would probably want a fake one cause there cheaper and they look like the real ones but sell it at the price of the new one bull crap i would ask for one for at least $800 mayby $1000 no higher either way still a gibson just with more shit on it
Gibsons aren't exactly quality guitar in my eyes. They are good, but you pay 3000 dollars for the name on that headstock and 700 for the actual guitar.
@VintageSalesInc Man, seriously calm down. Cool you can afford vintge les pauls, but no reson to bash on those who can't. That ain't nice. And selling this guitar making more than the other person in a year MEANS that you trick people. NO offense against the guitar though, it's cool, but nowhere near above 6000 bucks.
@falen6969 Douchebag. First learn a thing or two about vintage guitars before you post stupid comments on stuff you have ZERO knowledge on.
this is fake guitar
