These classic Peter C songs just don't do it for me with someone else singing them.

Jeff Coffey saved this band, bottom line.

Agreed! Coffey is better than Scheff, with all due respect to Scheff.

Rebecca Ames Jeff Coffey didn't save Chicago. He couldn't wear Jason Scheff's or Peter Cetera's shoes. I should've got my money refunded in 2016 when this nasally guy performed instead of Scheffy.

@@raybear7266 - Jason brought a lot to the band the 80’s and 90’s, and filled really big shoes as a young guy. But come on, man… he was dreadful live for the last 15 or so years. The constant touring wore him out. Jeff was far better, and it’s a shame he left Chicago - also due to constant touring.

Down in pitch from the original

I'm happy for this guy to have worked so hard and found a cool gig..but his pitch is not great, the vibrato is non-existent... This sort of feels like an Air Supply cover of an iconic Chicago song.

Scheffy is way better than this guy...

After Jason Scheff aka Scheffy left and now Tris Imboden, Chicago is just a glorified tribute band. Glad Jeff Coffey is gone.....

New Guy is flat, off key a lot, and very pitchy! And he's not as good of bass player as Sheff. I don't care for sheff either! He was very pitchy, very nasal, and could not hit the higher tenor parts. I don't understand Chicago's replacement. A little better than Karaoke. In my opinion this tells me, they are just looking for someone to help finish out Robert Lamms career, and the original horn players career, and then go back to the house. That's why they let Lou Pardina step up after already being in the band several years, and take Bill Champlins place, instead of bringing in a fresh face with a fresh sound. We die hard Chicago fans must face the music- If there was any serious intention on rebuilding the "Great Chicago band"as we know it-' then when Bill Champlin retired 7 or 8 yrs ago- that would have been an excellent time to bring in a new guy in his mid to late twenties to fill Bills spot, and give Robert Lamm time to truly mentor them. Then, in my opinion, they should have sent Jason Sheff packing also He would have still had a great run of 20 plus years. But, for some reason after Chicago 18-19; Jason just went bad vocally. I think as he got older his voice began too lower, as most tenors do.( Ceteras singing Your the inspiration these days at least 3 keys lower. (And that just compromises the beauty of that great song, done in the original key.) When Jason got in his mid 30s, he had to go falsetto to even hit the high parts- and that made his nasal tone stand out worse, and his pitch was never regained after Chicago 19. I thought Jason did a great Job vocally in Chicago 18-19; and he had great potential to be awesome in his own right and way- but his singing never improved. So, Chicago as we know them are done! Toast! Robert Lamb is 73, and the horn players are too, or at least close . But, Robert has always been the third best singer, though still great-- Robert cannot carry this band vocally! And neither can Lou Pardini or this new guy Jeff. They are both better than Karaoke respectfully- - but I'm not paying a high price ticket to hear anymore Chicago Karoke. Think about it folks- Robert Lamm is now by far the best singer in this present group vocally at the young age of 73! They are done! The CD Now in 2014 was the final Farwell, and the hall of fame induction! And I think " NOW" IS THE TIME TO PACK IT UP, QUIT WHILE THEIR OWN TOP AGAIN, GOT IN THE HALL OF FAME, AND WALK OFF STAGE KNOWING THEY WERE THE LONGEST TOURING BAND IN HISTORY, WITH ONE OF THE GREATEST MOST UNIQUE SOUNDS EVER, and WROTE SOME OF THE GREATEST SOFT ROCK SONGS IN THE HISTORY IF AMERICAN MUSIC!!! BUT, PETER TERRY, BILL, THE OLD JASON, AIN'T COMING BACK! FOR PETES SAKE, ( NO PUN INTENDED! LOL)!LET ROBERT LAMB AND THE ORIGINAL BAND LEFT--WALK AWAY WITH DIGNITY AND PRIDE, AND ENJOY BEING WITH THEIR GRANDKIDS!!!! THEY DON'T NEED ANYMORE MONEY OR FAME- AND WE ALL HAVE ENOUGH SONGS FOR A LIFETIME!!! I DON'T WANT TO SEE MY HEROES SINGING AND JAMMING ON WALKERS N CANES!!!! -- CONGRATS CHICAGO!!! YOU GAVE US 50 GREAT YEARS OF THE BEST MUSIC EVER!!!! BjB

A cover band doing a mediocre tribute to a Cetera/Foster masterpiece.
