Just hear me out.. I have never commented before but I thought I would speak up now. I spent years poking fun at vegans, then I found this channel and while I don’t plan on going vegan I do absolutely love a lot of these recipes. Thank you for opening my mind to a whole new world of food.
Love these recipes! I save on waste (foil & parchment paper) when I char peppers by placing them into a large bowl covered with a universal lid for pans. Using this hack, in 5 minutes or so the peppers have loosened their skin. The lid is more than 12 inches across & has a clear insert in the middle. it fits firmly atop my sauce pans & large pans. I can easily see when water is boiling or simmering with this lid. It is one of my most used kitchen items.
This was ridiculously ridiculously ridiculously entertaining.....can’t believe I laughed myself thru a video on dips. Reebs seems to have the Midas touch with these video edits. Oh, I guess you’re not bad either Dillon😂😂😂
I have made a similar walnut mushroom pate for years. I also recommend that you sauté the onions separately for a while so that they caramelize. It takes longer but adds a great depth of flavor
Dillon, I had a friend years ago who used those Lavash bread for wraps for enchiladas - they made nice big enchiladas! The dips looks amazing - Yumm!! :)
I have been making Trader Joe's Lavash crackers for quite a while. The ingredients on the Lavash consist of stone ground fine whole wheat flour, water, salt, and yeast. They are good as a wrap too. I use an air fryer at 400 degrees F for two minutes, rearrange to be sure there is good ventilation, and then another two minutes.

I did a dip collab in December and I did a mock Smokey tuna dip. I used chickpeas, it was delicious. Holidays and family events dips are wanted so for sure I will try these of these to take to show vegan food is good. Thank you! Wendy🙏🏻🌎
WFPB SOS free is where its at!!! umhuh. where you are never hungry and if you find the correct formula for you, the weight comes off!!!TY so much!!! Reebs and Dill!!!
these look great! if you put parchment on top of the eggplants while you roast them, you can just toss the whole eggplant (sans the top stem area) into the blender. it makes it a really dark color but you get the good stuff from the skin and it tastes the same. if you use citrus juice, you could instead, just remove the seeds and grind the peel and all, you get the fiber and flavonoids, you use the whole fruit and use less (it's a little bit more bitter so drop a date in the blender too). i especially like using ground lime and dates in peanut sauce for over julienne veggies and noodles.
Dylan, I've seen your food storage tour video. Would you store anything different during this upcoming food shortage that has been all over YT? Dips look delicious...😊👍
If you want a killer Baba Ganoush, but in a good killer way, fire your BBQ (that must be outdoors) and grill the whole eggplants/aubergines untill their skin is totally carbonised. Don't dare to turn them around until they are not properly burned. They will look pathetic, but will taste amazing. Then let them cool down until you can touch then, peal them off and put them in a sieve, so you get some liquid up. Leave them about 30minutes, then do whatever you want with them. And if you droped some pieces of burned skin in there, the better taste. Don't forget some finely chopped sweet onion in there, just for some more great texture and a lovely kick. Because this is quite an intensive labour activity, cook as many as you can and freeze some, for later. I'm out of here.
While I LOVE this video 😆, LOVE the recipes and can’t wait to try ALL of them, I have to confess to being slightly disappointed. I was prepared for a LOT more outrageousness, Dillon. You made it sound like Reebs made you look ridiculous with the way she edited (or didn’t), but I think she must have cut out a LOT! The energy was great, but it was a little tame, don’t ya’ think 🤔?
I made the Eggplant dip. You’re right! I should’ve used two eggplants because it’s almost gone. My carnivore husband can’t stop eating it. I like your simple recipes please keep it coming. This will help me transition.
I am the dip queen, having lived in Israel where dips are nearly a lifestyle. I make the mushroom dip which I call and have been serving for years as vegan chopped chicken never livers. Instead of rosemary, try thyme, a tablespoon of nooch. I love your videos, you are terrific and I cannot wait to see your garden. I love gardening...glad to see it make a come back during covid times.
Just made (and ate) the baba ganoush and it was amazing. Only had 1 eggplant so I halved everything (except for the basil). Can’t wait to make it again soon!!

I gotta say out of all the people I follow that represent the vegan/wfpb lifestyle, you are by far my favorite. I am definitely going to make all three of these... especially the pate. I was going to make the crackers, but then I looked up the ingredients of the lavash bread and it contains honey. That's a deal breaker for me. I loved Reebs dancing. She is always a special treat whenever she appears in the videos. Keep up the great work!
Hi Mark! The whole wheat lavash from Trader Joe's does not contain honey. I would check the ingredients of the one at your store as sometimes the products can differ. Hope that helps and enjoy the recipes!

FOR OIL FREE CRACKERS: Trader Joe's Clay Oven Baked Whole Wheat Lavash Bread - cut into squares, place on racks, bake 200° for 40 minutes
I don't have a problem with gluten just wheat, so I make chickpea flour flat bread, just a thought
