It was basically the only comedic cartoon for children that I actually watched as a kid. Everything else was X-Men, Spider-Man, Batman TAS, The Simpsons, Beavis and Butthead, Liquid TV, Aeon Flux, Duckman, and later, South Park, Toonami and Adult Swim. I grew up in a household where as long as there wasn’t a bunch of overt nudity, I could basically watch whatever I wanted. The perks of being a latchkey kid of divorced parents.
