I have had my Skyline S9 for just over a month now. After watching a lot of videos about app, I noticed that there are only a few for Android. As an Android user, I would like to see the same app options that are available for the ipad, made available for Android devices. Hopefully you will be doing this soon. Thank you for the videos.
Hi ! Good news, most of our Apps are now Android compatible. For more information, please visit the Janome Global website at this link: www7.janome.co.jp/global/product/softwareapps/
Wow thank you you explained this very well. My sewing buddy Julie and I have watched this a few times today. Now we are going to try the acuSketch I hope I can find the the blog to get the template you are using. Feeling that with out this step by step video we would be floundering.
Thank you very much for the video. I love the idea of embroidery my granddaughter drawings. I am new with Janome sewing machines so I want to known if it is possible to used acusketch with the MC 9900 using of course the usb stick .
Hello Pilar - yes you need to save the design, send it to your email to your computer, and then download the file to a USB stick. Make sure to select the Skyline S9 hoops size, since they will work with your 9900 hoops. Happy Sewing!
Why are the free ACU* apps only available for IPADs? I have just bought an S9 and am horrified that the free software I was promised is only available on one proprietary platform. The software looks great but I feel shortchanged. Do I have to go and buy an Ipad now? Do you intend to make this available in a Windows or Android format for those of us who are not Apple users?
I just purchased a 500e can I use the Acu Apps? I downloaded the Acuscketch to my iPad and when I opened the app to check it out, the tour wants me to select a machine which mine is not listed. Can I use any of these apps?
Hi there. Thanks for posting this video. Its always helpful to see the various software tools being used. You mention at the beginning of the clip that you would show how to transfer work from Acusketch (& I’m assuming this will work for Acuedit as well) to ANY Janome machine ie non-WiFi connected machines. I don’t you did show this - is it possible to do so? I have both an S9 & a 500e & would like to use app generated designs on both.
Great question Vicki! We've made a separate video to show you how to transfer these designs to your computer to save to a USB for your non-WiFi machines. You can find this video here: ua-cam.com/video/ToYqdWjU0T8/v-deo.html
Hi. Maybe you can help me...I have janome S9 and trying to transfer fonts that I bought on etsy. Just don't know how to transfer them. Do I need iPad or is it possible to do it from pc or phone? Thank you in advance 😘
Stefania you can change the canvas size with your fingers on your tablet. Just use your fingers to make it larger or smaller just how you would on any app. This should correct your issue.
Aren’t any of these apps compatible with the MC 400e? I prefer a stand alone embroidery machine. It embroiders beautifully, but I would like to make quilt labels, also. Is my only option AcuDesign? I don’t mind spending the $50, but want to make sure it’s worth it. It has a lot of bad reviews. Could you plz tell me my options? Thanks.
I don't have a password for the I cloud to get the pictures you posted. How do I get one??? I just got my 15000 and am so lost as the manual takes me to a point but then leaves me hanging. Can you tell me where to get videos on Acu Fil and color sorting?
Hello Denise, Thank you so much for choosing Janome! Please reach out to our helpful customer service representatives at custrel@janome-america.com for further assistance.
Hello Beverley, yes, you can use the app too. You'll need to send the embroidery file to our computer, then transfer the design to your 11000 from there. Here's a video of how to save the file to your computer: ua-cam.com/video/ToYqdWjU0T8/v-deo.html

Hello Beverley, yes, you can use the app too. You'll need to send the embroidery file to our computer, then transfer the design to your 11000 from there. Here's a video of how to save the file to your computer: ua-cam.com/video/ToYqdWjU0T8/v-deo.html
