Chegg is now at $2.00 a share today. I used Chegg a few years ago, before AI was all the rage. I used it for some physics and math problems. I don't see AI from other companies being as valuable. Trying to type in long equations every time is way too time consuming. I enjoyed the value of having their solutions for an entire chapter or section and could go through problems one by one with accuracy and with many people liking or confirming the work is correct.. I do see high school level questions being pretty obsolete by AI, but I don't see it going away anytime soon for college level mathematics, physics and some other STEM fields. I see the likelihood of Chegg being acquired greater than the probability of them being bankrupt. The data they have I believe would be more valuable than the $210 million of their current market cap. Especially when they have as much cash as they do right now. I'm buying!
They are producing their own LL and Ai database. That is power. Also the combo of Ai and actual humans will always have customers because people need other people at some point. Cut and paste won’t reach you everything. I believe this is way undervalued. They do need to improvise and improve their app. Market themselves as “safe Ai for students”. I’m holding and buying the dip.
Chegg has most of its employees from India. I am one of the experts. I have authored thousands of solutions. More than 70% of the high school questions are easily and accurately solved by AI. Chegg is going down. There are many reasons that I can't mention here. As a hint, I used to author about 100 solutions per month in my free time. We hardly see any questions these days on our dashboard. The database of solutions they have created over the years is 40% handwritten (mostly disliked by students), 20-30% generated by early AI (inaccurate and wrong mostly) and the remaining is worth it. They don't pay a sufficient amount to the experts for the hardwork, so experts find ways to bypass the algorithms.
This is very insightful, thank you IdealMathematician. I do have a question if you don't mind answering. You mentioned that you hardly see anymore questions on the dashboard, is this the result that Chegg switched to an AI model and the questions are going there instead of the human experts? I heard that their goal is to automate the process. Thank you
Exponential moves and potential in Ai and Pandoras box is open. Ultimately CHGG will become legacy then obsolete. Unless Global legislation for Anti-Trust is introduced to protect all business / everything 🤔
@@victorhinvesting I hope you're right Victor. Feels very much we are entering the 5th Industrial revolution with little hope of returning Ai to it's box 🤞Great presentation today btw !
You have no clue how a value play works. Do yourself a favor and either learn more about investing or stop investing entirely. You don't have the stomach for it. Low cost ETF.

Microvast Holdings, Inc. (MVST) is at very low today, I was wondering what you think about them ? solid, week or just untachable ?
Very small cap, losing money and burning cash, very risky stock

4 months after you made this video it has gone from $3.98 to $1.54 (10/12/24). So much for its value.
