The only films out of MCU should have been Raimi 4 and TASM 3. NWH literally opened the door for this... Only the most incompetent studio in the world would choose instead to do Madame Web, Morbius and Kraven.
The problem's going to be, they either want more saying in Tom Holland's Spider Man movies and/or produce their own TASM movies. They sure won't do, what would benefit them and the fans the most, which would be just collecting their shares and let Disney/Marvel do the movies with their characters.

I liked the first two Venom films and i also liked Morbius. I'm also looking forward to Kraven. I can't comment on Venom 3 as I've not seen it and Im not interested in Madam Webb. But at the same time, this universe could have worked better if it was set in the ASM timeline, and slowly tease an encounter with Andrew's Spider-Man in each film.
The universe could have worked if people in charge were those who actually know things about comic books. Avi Arad, the Madame web producer ruined it. Also the writers ugh. Kraven might be good cause I think J.C. Chandor decided the last cut of the film.
As a big fan of the SSU, and their Spider-Man villain spinoff movies, I am really saddened by this news, but as they say ultimately all good things must at some point come to an end.

I just don’t have the patience anymore, and it also doesn’t help that I’m not getting any younger. Maybe if Sony goes back to making Spider-Man villain spinoff movies in the next few years I might gain some interest back in the superhero film genre, but as of right now I think I’m calling it quits.

FINALLY. I hope they realized it would be better to focus their energy on helping Marvel build out the MCU’s Spider-Man’s world. The main thing Tom Holand’s Spidey has been missing is full access to Spider-Man’s Rogues Gallery of villains and allies.

Andrew Garfield should've been in the Sony Spider man universe. Morbius, Venom and Kraven. It would be hits. We already know they "No Way Home". Just give spider man in his separate universe. No problem.
