Please don't quit. That is what they want. To stop you from being their competition. You are better than them. They can't win on the lake. So they attack you off the lake to make you quit. Just keep, entering, keep winning. Hold your head up knowing that you are a better fisherman a better team.

This is the first video I’ve ever seen of these guys but if they are entering every tournament and winning then yea people are going to get tired of it if they can win every tournament then they need to go pro. Like I said I’ve never seen a video this just popped up don’t even know who these guys are. Just stating the problem I’ve seen in tournaments before guys that should be fishing pro isn’t because pros would be more of a competition and they won’t make money every week

Hunter Jarnigan you crazy man! At my local lake, the same big sticks win the tourneys all the time. That absolutely doesn’t mean they need to go pro. Some people have lives they live, outside of the fishing world, and they fish tourneys because they like it. If you can’t beat em, get better. Learn more. You sound just like the sissified America we live in. “He’s too good, he shouldn’t compete against me. He should go somewhere else so I can win.”

They could have went in a couple days prior and prefished but definitely noticed that too.
At the end they said they had never fished it till 2 days prior to the tournament

I continue to support only 2 types of tournaments: The first are the tournaments where an official is on every boat and you weigh the bass right after the catch and immediately release it and the second are the types that kayak fishermen use, where you take a picture of the Bass's length on a hog trough and then release it. Here's why: There's a lake within an hour from my house that I've been fishing for 28 years. You used to be able to catch at least 5 decent bass every time you would fish there. Someone would catch an 8 pound or better hog there every weekend. Tournaments have destroyed this lake. Over half of the bass that are brought in at weigh ins are already dead. They're not surviving in the live wells. Year after year, tournament after tournament I see hundreds of dead bass tossed in a dumpster, thrown back in the lake or taken home by someone who said they would eat it. Now, I may catch 3 small ones when I fish there and someone pulls in a hog (8+ lbs) only once or twice a year. Fourth of July weekend I talked to the old timer that's been working the bait shop near the boat ramp for over 50 years. He said it makes him sick to his stomach seeing all of the dead fish that come out of the live wells.
Must be KY Lake, if not, same there as well.
People dont care until there old and grow a respect for what a place was and by that time its gone.

I think a tutorial video on skipping docks with bait casters would be cool. I’ve tried several times to do it but failed miserably. I mostly skip with a spinning rod.
Try putting a piece of tape over the spool. This way the back lash will be minimized

If you saw last tournament,(couple vids ago) I was calling Zark out for only being good for kicking butt and netting fish..roles got reversed..Ham and eggs!(Zark the egg fyi)

Great video as usual! Just have to say that the fish release at 6:52 leaves something to be desired. For folks who put so much time and money (believe me, I know how much goes into our sport) into this, some still treat this resource with very little respect. It wouldn't hurt to take an extra second to put the fish in the water instead of acting like he is throwing it away after it's outlived its usefulness to him. He will probably be pissed about this comment and if he even bothers to respond at all, it will be with excuses and reasons why it's OK to do what he did. Worse yet would be if he doesn't get PO'd and just figures "whatever'... Stay safe guys and Congrats on the W's!
I agree. Tournaments already beat up a lot of fish up in general...the last thing they need is to be tossed, none the less thrown, on their release. It's usually the lack of respect for conservation that give tournament anglers a bad rap. I get that time is critical, but lots of time is wasted in other aspects of your day....a couple extra seconds won't cost you a win.
What TANGIBLE evidence do we have that "tossing" a fish into the water has an affect on a fish's health and I don't want someones opinion.
@@robinsonnis lol. That's not something I would take time to research, but in my opinion... You don't see bass fully jump from the water in the wild unless they're in distress. I don't imagine their bodies are made to do belly, side, and back flops. Maybe not harming their long-term health, but I'm sure the fish appreciates it in the short term. *My opinion*

@@robinsonnis you're trying to justify mistreating an animal? I saw lots of it in this video. They are literally cashing in on these creatures and they are hitting them and bouncing them off the sides of the boat! Whether it does long term damage or harm doesn't matter, it's about respecting nature. I show more respect to a deer than I just shot and downed than they did in this video.
