- Please support the animators for this series and great story telling. I don’t own any rights what so ever I just like Lego monkie kid.
Also I got a better clip cause the other one was too low quality.
Wukongs scream towards the end gave me chills 😭😭 That voice acting is amazing
It was just insane. He’s an amazing voice actor
That’s the true scream of despair! 😢
That’s the voice of Goku for ya
_That shit was_ VICERAL, _bruh!_ 😢
Bruh same thing happend to me
The thing about this fight is that you want both of them to lose. Not because you hate them, but because you love them.
I like how even though the animation isn’t as fluid as the previous seasons, the scene still so emotional and amazing.
This will go down as one of Sean Schemmel's best performances.
@@Matteso586 agreed
@@DiamondT-rex To be honest he was born for the role as wukong instead of goku, say what you want about me criticizing dragon ball but journey to the west is something he should've voice acted in.
@@Zetagator-yw7kvi mean goku is literally wukong so…
@@Shuri_lol except dragon ball is not journey to the west it's all just aliens and random stuff! while monkey kid based on everything from the book!
@@Zetagator-yw7kv well dragon ball was based off of it but anyways you are correct
Bro, Sean and Jack had RENT TO PAY, oh my god, this is unironically some of the best vocal work I’ve heard from BOTH OF THEM.
People say the animation is bad when this whole fight scene was amazing although it was short
Voice acting is amazing, the impact frames are great, but it's pretty choppy and the characters' emotions could've been better.Personally it's carried by the writing and the voice acting. So is it emotional and amazing? Yea.Is it the usual animation quality? Sadly no.
Who the actual hell is saying the animation is bad? Like genuinely??
No way people actually say that
@@masonstewart6232 everyone sees that its worse than before and calls it bad, its still good animation just not as good as before
This scene of monkie kid made me cry so hard when i first saw it 😭😭😭😭😭😭
That damn hoop he can't do nothing with it on
Even though he looks like he was fighting serious wukong was holding back remember he is in his old stage plus he wouldn't want to hurt mk he sees him as his brother not only that just because he is old doesn't mean he cant kill if wukong was not hold back mk wouldn't have the chance to move and he wouldn't be able to use the magic thing on wukongs head mk would be broken up or might even killed but i guess he is just a mature old guy who loves his students so bad willing to take his sacrifice
technically Wukong is an immortal so he can't get old and forever in his prime time
@@JayneCJX Yep.One of the form of immortalities you can get on this universe is retaining the physique of a young person (like from the Ginseng fruit from season 2,how am I sure? It's in the book).Despite seemingly setting up someone to replace him,he doesn't seem to need that (which makes me suspect that Wukong is training MK for another purpose, the whole successor thing is just to draw MK in cause he knows MK idolise him)
@@claudius3359maybe he no longer wants to live or something
Well also seeing as how the fight was very similar to the fight that killed Macaque, it's possible he held back for fear of MK meeting the same fate
"Im trying to save you!"
Sounds so Heart Broken..
Mentor vs succersor..
I can’t wait for the next season. At least I think they’ll be a next season.😊
Time to figure out who's stronger
In the original novel(the journey beyond the west) Sunwukong would kill him ngl
@@DioBrando_YT_official that’s interesting
wukong is shown to be significantly more friendly in this show than in the novel
@@be7256what’s Wukong like in the Novel?
@@hattoripool1533 NOT this friendly with tripitaka
like okay to be fair by the end of the novel wukong got a lot more chill but in monkie kid when wukong reverts to his old state hes quite fond of the great sage
in the novel? not at all really.
he was doing his own thing against tripitakas judgement a lot, not really obeying orders (which he also got punished for by tripitaka using the tightening spell which did not make him any more likeable for wukong) and just being chaotic in general
although tbh wukong was making the right choices a lot of times too and tripitaka just has like zero trust in him
wukong is redeemed yes but man the relationship he had with tripitaka? id describe it as abusive even
Idk dude,it just feels like you're taking it out of context cause Wukong here came to disarm and stop MK not actually fight him.He wouldn't intercept MK if he didn't care about him.
Plus MK didn't stand in his way or bother him like Macaque.Wukong is a pretty decent guy when you're not bothering him, like this is the guy that calls the deities bro/bud
When bro goes goku mode xD
2:13
The message and choreography are all just as good as the last 4 seasons. But did the animation change slightly?
Animation studio changed
Are they standing on pride mountain?
Pride rock? No 😂😂😂😂
