Hi Matija, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words and this comment, and the feedback, I really appreciate it :)
I never really though that spray painting would be different depending on what medium you use! It’s amazing that, even with that “limitation,” you were able to create two nearly identical pieces. Like 16, my good friend!
Hi Vivana, Thank you for taking the time to leave this comment and feedback it's really appreciated :) Also nice to hear that you liked one of my tutorials :)
Hi Jon, question,,, given that the canvas soaks up the paint, Do you think spraying it with clear and letting dry before starting your painting would help prevent the soaking up of the paint?
Hi Jon, great video! I’m interested in taking up spray paint art as a hobby and was wondering which retailers are best for getting the paint from. Thanks again and keep up the good work
Hi Gareth, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and the question I really appreciate it :) I get my spray paint from the internet, all i do is type spray paint suppliers in the search and go from there, hope this helps :)
Jon Barber Art hey Jon brilliant work my friend. Can u tell me where to find those plates ur using for the planets also what colors / type of spray paints are u using ? Appreciate u.
Hi Albie , Thank you for the question, Yes you could spray it with clear coat first to seal it and leave it to dry before painting or you could paint a few layers of a base colour like white or black on to it first but then you would want to leave it a day for it to completely dry before putting paint onto the canvas. Hope this helps :)
Hi Jon, thank you for your lovely instructional and inspiring tutorials, just discovered you today but I think you will be my go to guy on this topic. Would you mind sharing the make of paints and where on line to order them Im in Ireland, happy spraying :)

What paint do you use? Does it matter type or brand? I've been watching a bunch of your tutorials and think I'm ready to give it a try. What size of cards are you using. All I can find is 11x17 inch. Was hoping to find larger. Thank you for doing these tutorials.
Hi Bob, No problem, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the questions I really appreciate it :) The Spray paint i use is from the montana range, I use that because i like using it :) but other brands of spray paint will work just fine, (Keep a eye on my channel has i have a video or two about this coming soon) The size of paper/card i use can vary, but i mostly use A2 and A3 size paper hope this helps :)
Hi jon I've got a question if we got a piece of cardboard that's got a gloss side on it can we use that? And how long did you wait for it to dry before moving onto the next step could use a hair dryer on the warm setting to dry it abit quicker?
Hi Trent, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the questions, I really appreciate it :) Yes it would be doable to paint on gloss side of cardboard, but i would just test a small area first tho :) For the drying time i would anything between 15-30 mins to naturally dry depending on the weather, or you can speed the process up with something, a hair dryer is one thing and should only take a few mins to dry the paint, hope this helps :)
