For 90s kids like me KK was an emotion. My playlists are filled at least 50% with songs of him and some other legends like him.
Even us 2000s kids grew up with his songs.
Not only was, but still is and will forever be an emotion for 90s kids.

He doesn’t even understand hindi yet he’s enjoying the music so much. KK’s one of the reasons i learned hindi so fast when i was young. Truly a legendary singer.

Can't believe I saw my life's first concert and it was his last. To say the least I was shocked after getting the news of his demise after less than 3 hrs where he was singing his heart out and even danced a few steps would be understatement. My memories will always be bittersweet of that day. His presence will be so much felt.

Not exactly Baritone but a lyric baritone or could even be tenor or dramatic tenor .In the mid 2000’s his voice started aging & gaining weight like baritones dark & rich texture .Songs like Labon ko , Kya mujhe Pyaar hai encapsulates the essence of his baritone voice .
@@rongkimhanse7288 I think he was always a baritone but in early 2000s he was made to sing higher. pitched songs by Anu Malik and also his singing was more westernised. Later KK adapted well to Bollywood singing and could express freely, his lower chest voice is the best I have ever heard, quality and timbre was top notch. And his diction was superb too. God I miss him a lot

I would recommend you to watch his clips of singing in interviews and other places, without music. His voice is so so so melodious and pure, doesn't require any instruments. You'll feel like there is music instilled in his vocal cord.

Many have finally realized that he is the best ever. He surpassed many other great singers as well like Udit, Sanu, Kishore etc.. It's unfortunate how many ignored him even though he was the best. Life is sometimes so unfair..
Besides that he was a true rockstar, a brilliant live performer. Indian singers are fuckin boring and KK was just very different from them. He truly rocked the stage whenever he was their.. I sometimes laugh when people unnecessarily compare anyone with him.. God bless KK Sir 💔

@@nishantpatel7829 his voice quality was the best amongst all, not just these 3. In terms of originality, the most original voices in the industry have been Saigal, Rafi, Kishore and Kk. Shaan and Sonu are great too but heavily inspired by Kishoreda and Rafi Saab respectively.
Personally Kk was number 1 for me with Shaan, Mohit and Lucky Ali being distant 2,3 and 4.
I respect Sonu Nigam and Arijit. Very skillful singers, but honestly their voices do nothing for me🤷♂️
