Wow, keep up the good work 🙏❤️ 🙏
Nice video. A lot of good info. Any thoughts about a bamboo yurt for that climate, or using bamboo to build the geodesic dome?
Sure u just need to be aware that bamboo tends to crack/split in the sun so it has greatest longevity in construction when it is covered. Yurt would be fine, for a dome you'd just have to make the connection hubs and ideally not use a transparent plastic for sheathing.
quanset might be cool for a dojo space
Yeah, one benefit is you can have a high vault ceiling and lots of open space with no posts/supports in the way, yet without having to spend a bunch of $$ on trusses and girders to span the distance
Earth ship is NOT for equatorial, don't need heat .
10:00 what're advantages or purpose of the quonset buildings compared to the current methods you're using?
Stronger, which isn't so important here with no hurricanes/etc but still...
Simpler/faster to build. Not necessarily cheaper but. Aside from the foundation and interior work, most of the building is just bolting together curved sheets.
Actually been thinking about this a lot lately, so thanks for the video. Guessing you've quit Facebook, any other way I can contact you? :)
I'm still on Zuckerbook, just takes me a while to respond to messages sometimes ;-P
