Sadly Jack and John were considered for 14 but scrapped since not enough people are fans of them.

Mickey was who broke this game with that fucking grab. Was inescapable, huge damage and you can grab the opponent from the floor with it again. If you watch versus matches of AoF2, most people use Mickey and use this shit.
If only they'd make this grab a command grab that uses rage or make it escapable like the others, he'd be more balanced

@@BeanMan157 I remember in the SNES manual, he was already a successful boxer and accidentally killed an opponent in the ring, and that's what led to his downfall. We don't know if he lived in the slums per se but that stage (and music) really have a tragic vibe to them. Then in this game he's starting to make a comeback hence the much more energetic music, his new look, and stage.

I agree, he was a total goofy bum in the first game and they really improved everything about him here. Ironically, they seemed to do the opposite with John!
LOL what. Looks much more fluid, faster than AOF, sure, but all, and I mean ALL the artiness is gone. Color palette went from dark, gritty to plain terrible, backgrounds are an eyesore, no inspiration whatsoever. Doesn't even look like AOF anymore. AOF was prime SNK firing on all cylinders, this is just way over the hill. Same as Samurai Shodown: SS2 was a timeless masterpiece then franchise just fell off a massive cliff...

Mickey and Robert was my favorite character in this Art of Fighting. I don't understand why he was never in the King of Fighter games. Out of all the Art of Fighting games, this was the best one in my opinion. I loved the sprite size.

You know dudes & dudettes Boxing has come a long way threw out history as well in combat sports history and there are more then one types of Boxing such as: [Out-Boxing, Swarmer Boxing, Slugger Style Boxing, Boxer-Puncher, Bare-Knuckle Boxing, Traditional Boxing, Ancient Greek Boxing & Kickboxing] each of these are different styles that from the last that knows what they are doing in every match up and this totally reminds of one King Of Fighters Series Character known as: [Shen Woo] his fighting style is his own version of Boxing Street Fighting Style it kinda sounds more like both Boxing Styles of: [Slugger Style Boxing & Bare-Knuckle Boxing] and it also sounds like he is a Switch Hitter that he does both Orthodox & Southpaw Stances to really throw a punch at his opponent or opponents and this Shen Woo dude has really caught my attention and seeing how awesome he is in a fight wish this dude was in the New King Of Fighters Games as DLC if the company least thinks about it and give him a chance as well to be added and playable by other fans and players now that would be awesome in any other ways or he should be added to SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy as a DLC Character as DLC and just to see the look on his face when he is turn into a female version of himself now that would be awesome and funny at the same time don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆
More fighting games need to incorporate the zoom when you’re close technique.
Its was some kind of SNK signature, first AOF had huge characters up close.

11:18 it's shown better... Mickey is the ONLY character in the game that you can't "break" the normal Throw, and you add it to the fact that you can "meaty" throw in this game and any Throw from Mickey turns into a touch of Death.

@@welric pior que são, mesmo alguns sendo bem sem sentido ou revelando um lado que o personagem não transparece, como a "carrancuda" King curtir trocadilhos...
A minha teoria é que a NRS (MK) usou ideias da Snk para os MKs mais recentes. Só para citar duas correlações que eu faço. Uma coisa é o estilo dos diálogos, que parece inspirado por AOF2. É tipo mais escrachado e na bucha do que diálogos dos jogos da Capcom por exemplo. Outra coisa é que o sistema de variações parece inspirado pelo velho Slash e Bust do Samsho, só que expandido.
Esse estilo de diálogo de AOF2 eu ainda acho o mais perto do ideal. A Snk errou demais na mão no Kof Xiii. Seria bom se voltassem a usar esse estilo do AOF2 nos Kof's futuros.
Tai um personagem que junto com John evoluiu muito do AoF 1. Mereciam uma Chance no KoF
Se reparar bem o John tem golpes parecidos com os de heidern e o micky com os do heavy.D,se ela não usa mais o personagem,ela pega os golpes e cria outro
Na fixa oficial sobre ele essa oportunidade de lutar contra o campeão foi contra Axel hank do FF2

Hello Everyone I'm Prime Zero L from looking at this video I would say they should give this character a chance to fight in the game series of King of Fighters and I like Boxing one sport before wrestling and this character isn't half bad now that I look at him and not to mention he looks a lot like Ali one of the greatest Boxers that ever live and they should give all other characters a chance to fight again in the New King of Fighters the ones that everyone hasn't seen them in years in any King of Fighters Games and some of you Fans & People would have to at least agree with me on that.!? ♤♡♧◇🥊
SNK let down many interesting characters like Temjin, Jack and John, it would be good to have them back in king of fighters, or Tekken 8 (geese Howard is in Tekken 7

You know dudes & dudettes I had my fair share playing Art Of Fighting Series and one my favorite characters out of all of them would have to be Micky Rogers knowing this dude fighting style is Out-Boxing style and he is reference off of: [Muhammud Ali] and he really not reminds of Muhammud Ali he also reminds me of me of course since I'm a Out-Boxer myself that I double as a Bare-Knuckle Boxer 🥊 and I'm a MMA Fighter I was train by my old man who train me since I was a little sad about a few years back in the year 2016 June 3rd that day I was so sad to hear that my favorite Out-Boxer dude had pass away he was always be the best and my favorite Boxing 🥊 Champ 🏆🏅always and at least to me and others I raise my cup 🥤🍺 to you Muhammud Ali he'll always be around and be the best always don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆

SNK é muito besta. Tem um elenco Ricasso por parte das suas franquias imagina KoF XV tem só personagens dos games antigos da empresa ? E deixando os novos que a galera gostou. Hey everyone I'm Roland also known by my Avatar name Komodo The Huntsman and I like to say this The only reason I like about this character that he is the reference off of Ali The Out-Boxer and pretty much everyone knows him as The Boxing King from looking back on his history he is the best when it gets to him in a Boxing Ring he beat Smoking Joe and then he beat George Foreman Ali beat two of the legendary Boxers that ever live in every Boxing Match that comes his way and it's bad enough when I heard Ali pass away during time when I was back in High School and I was so sad when I heard the news about what to The King of Boxing gone just like Smoking Joe but big for Ali and even George Foreman was so in shock to hear about Ali passing to the after life and it was nice that they build Smoking Joe a statue of him in his hometown of Pennsylvania and George Foreman knows the story of both Smoking Joe & Ali and wish Hollywood would make a True Story Movie about George Foreman, Smoking Joe & Ali knowing these three are all time legends in History Combat Sports in the History of Boxing and that is all for now and as my man Prime Zero L always says it some of you Fans & Players & People would have to at least agree with me on that one on this Game at least.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇
