Very cool geometrical abstract. The mark making really brought some fun effects.
Love this Cate! Thank you for providing the inspiration and the permission to be free, creative and to incorporate "mistakes", to move through and beyond the messy stage! Be well! ♥♥♥
Thank you for your lovely comment. The messy stage is so important! You too 😊
Hi Cate,That was really interesting, loved it. Thank you. ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the leftover cut out as a piece of abstract art.
Wow! That was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I can't wait to try this!!!
Thank you 🙏 I hope you have fun with it 🥰
Lovely piece, I wouldn't have thought of using positive and negative shapes like that, thanks Cate.
You’re welcome 😊 thank you 🙏
thanks for sharing - very fun!!
At first I was a bit skeptical, but the more I worked, painted, the freer I felt and I was able to work into some abstract pieces that I was “afraid” of wrecking. Now, relaxing and watching the weather kick up a thunderstorm, I feel happy that I started with the cut outs.
Again feeling like a kid again.
Love this, such wonderful ideas I would never of thought about wow! Thank you, Jan 😊 x
Thanks so much! 😊

Love this! Very inspiring, thank you😊
You’re welcome 😊
That is very effective Cate, thank you.
You're so welcome! 😊🙏
Very interesting way of making your stencil and the cut outs were wonderful . I will have to try this. The weather where I live in Lake Delton, Wisconsin USA has been rainy to the point of a good size tree fell over into our backyard, missing our home. I am thanking God for that. Another slimmer tree is leaning dangerously. It’s too wet for the big machine to drive on our lawn. Thankfully we have had dry cooler weather the past four days and expect more. Love the results of your painting and your soothing teaching voice. Take care.
Wow, Janet, that sounds scary indeed! I’m so glad you’re all ok. 🙏😊 thank you for your kind comments 🥰
