Mattingly those first six years or so was as good as just about anyone until injuries set in and forced him to retirement right before the Yankees started their championship run
Favorite color commentators of mine: Tony Kubek and the late Joe Morgan. Either could call little league games and I would watch. The more you post of either on the call the more good stuff to watch and be grateful for.
Always look forward to your channel's uploads and have spent many hours enjoying the videos with my family. With no new uploads lately I can only say I hope all is well with you, and many thanks for all that you've shared.
@@ThisIsWhereYouFindBaseball it's been a fun ride for sure. Not the same but seems you have access to newer minor league games, if you ever wanted to randomly uplaod some of those some of us would enjoy them. Either way thanks for all the amazing old games, will miss seeing your videos on my feed every day!
I love these flashback games. What are the chances you could find some Braves games in 2002-2003? One of my favorite players was Matt Franco and I would love to see some games he was in then.
@ThisIsWhereYouFindBaseball you haven't posted anything in 12 days when you used to post pretty much daily. I hope you and your loved ones are alright and sending a prayer your way just in case. Know that your channel is really great and appreciated a lot. God bless you.
@@ThisIsWhereYouFindBaseball thanks for letting us know. Glad that it's for that reason and not another. There's certainly a lot to be watched on your awesome channel, thanks for sharing so many great memories with us all.
George held a grudge because he believed Winfield and his agents pulled a fast one over on him on a cost-of-living escalator on the latter's free agent contract in 1981. There is nothing a rich guy hates more than somebody making them pay more money than they think they have to.

The AL had some wonderfully iconic ballparks still in 1987:
Tiger Stadium.
Yankee Stadium.
Fenway Park.
Comisky Park.
NBC game of the week was always special when I was a kid in the 80's
You have the best channel on UA-cam. Thank you sincerely for your posts, particularly the old GOW stuff. Keep ‘em coming!
BEAUTIFUL!!

We have many, many games on this channel of Kubek and Morgan on the call.
@@ThisIsWhereYouFindBaseball I know. I come here often. I appreciate y'all
I always considered Tony Kubek to be the best commentator in baseball.
And he's still alive

Tommy John is pitcher in 80 pct of Yankees games uploaded on this channel. 😂
Apparently Rickey Henderson needed to ‘put out’ more 😂
Do you guys have a version of game 5 of the ‘08 NLCS in hd
No, we do not.
Great George Steinbrenner interview in the 5th inning. Discussion points: free agency collusion and the high price of 2 million dollar salaries
Neil Allen was like 0-9 with a 7.00 ERA that year I don't know how he lasted in Majors so long
Still unknown. Why did George hate Winfield so much? It was weird how obsessed with Winfield he was.
