I have said this before, I'm going to Japan next April. Go Go Nihon was one of my options, but their support is not as good as the agency that I choose. I'll espend around 720k yen for 6 months of school and housing (A single flat 16~20m²)
I don't want to be unfair to go go nihon, I know people who went to Japan with this service and had no problems. But when I was living in Ireland, I was working with exchange schools and I know very well how this business works. Go Go Nihon's business model should be primarily commission based. And there's nothing wrong with that, but they will only provide you with the basics and after you arrive in Japan the responsibility will be 100% on the school's shoulders. The agency that I chose provides everything that Go Go Nihon provides. In addition, they have support during the exchange period, transfer, full Nihongo course, community of students, weekly meetings for clarifications and doubts. In the end, the investment is basically the same. The difference is that Go Go Nihon earns on the commission and the agency I chose earns on the service provided.@@Seriinudesu
Im surprised how similar we are haha. Have been to Japan, prefers Tokyo/Yokohama and now deciding a language school to go to that has conversation classes and next to a park . Thanks for the video
I decided to apply for the new isi in Shinjuku I was able to talk to some of the staff in person. Couldn’t see inside because still in construction. so I hope maybe things have changed and it will be a lot better.
Hi! I am really inspired by how you are preparing for your plans. Is Tokyo area the only choice you want? I heard firststudyosaka (name of school) is a great language school in Osaka. Plus Osaka is a good location because it’s near Kyoto and Nara, and is just 2hrs away to Tokyo via shinkansen.
Hi Kora, yes. I liked Tokyo the most when I was in Japan last time and would like to explore the north of Japan this time like Aomori prefecture for example. So Yokohama or Tokyo make the most sense 😊 Thank you ☺️ Are you also planning on going to language school?
As much as I want to try to study in a language school, it’s not in my budget. 😅. So I am just doing self-study, maybe until N3. Good luck, on your school hunting! You have a good judgement on things so I believe you’ll be successful in choosing the best school for you.
Understandable. I hope you'll get some feedback 😊 I found quite a lot on Reddit and also a video about ISI in comparison to Akamonkai from "The Hazina Girl" here on YT. Maybe that helps you
After reading a lot of mixed reviews, I decided not to go to the school. But tbh I don't remember in detail what brought me to that decision (probably the Google reviews), sorry.
@Seriinudesu if your a beginner they try to cram everything as fast paced as possible, and even if your never late or absent they still mark you because the teacher's don't pay attention
Hi, may I know what ISI branch you’re in? I’m also looking for school in tokyo and interested with the ISI business in harajuku, but they have mixed review .. Do you have other school recomendation? Thankyou
@@rinnocent_I’m also looking at ISI so I’m curious as well.

Maybe another option is go to Japan and search in websites where local citiziens offer you to teach and speak in Japanese. In think it will be more cheaper. Could you do any research about this, please? Thanks a lot for your videos.
Hi Paco, that would be an option but then I would have to apply for another visa. I also like the thought of going back into a classroom environment and the social aspect. I think just having lessons with locals would feel a bit more isolating 😊

@NetoOlaMundo
Which agency did you choose?
@@HoneysVlog Living Japan, but I don't know if they have an advisor who speaks English, I know that they can help in Spanish and Portuguese
Exactly going to language school with gogonihon is way more expensive than other options as i see
Do you research any other options by now ?

Hello! What school you chose in the end? ☺️
I would like ISI too because the building looks amazing 😅. But, after see some comments, now I feel uncertain.
I don’t recommend isi from present experience
