    You should combine every planet in the solarsystem, and then use the MEGA BIG SUPERMOON as a Moon for the new MEGA BIG SUPERPLANET. Please!

      He should, but it's obvious what would happen. It would become a gas giant with 470 Earth masses, or about 1.5x Jupiter, and the radius of Jupiter.

      Are you accounting for the loss in energy involved in the collision? Heat loss, friction, ignition of gases, etc. That has to account for a sizeable loss in physical mass.

    • @Sam-oz8pn
      @Sam-oz8pn 7 років тому

      John Canfield Not really. A lot of energy creates a little mass. A lot of that heat and all gomes from the kinetic energy, not mass to energy.
      Although now that I think it over it's probably a lot compared to what we're used to, given the massiveness of the collision. Just insignificant to the moons themselves (the mass loss, not the heat and all.) More mass would probably be lost to escaping fragments.

    Anton I would like to make a case for Shakespeare. Ignoring the art of it for once, the importance of Shakespeare linguistically is very significant. English as a language was finishing a major transition when Shakespeare was writing. In the course of his writings he drastically increased the amount of words in the language by writing down things he heard that had never been written before and by inventing words he needed. A famous example of which is 'asasination'. The publishing of his works not long after he died essentially doubled the written English language compared to the King James Bible publish not long before. I believe that is why it is still taught. He was the Newton of the English language. Sort of.

    +Anton Petrov Would you mind adding a video combining this supermoon with Mars and Venus? I have a feeling that if done correctly, and with the orbit shifted a bit, we could create a goldilocks planet in our own solar system.

    Now add both Mars and Mercury to it, and it would make a very Earth-like planet with a sizable gravity, it's own atmosphere and magnetosphere.

    Can you combine Jupiter and Saturn together and see what type of gas giant it is

    DIVIDE the natural satellites of all planets into two groups: 1. Moons (those that are rounded under their own gravity) and 2) Moonlets (those that are not round and just huge boulders). That way, the number of moons become the more or less what was 50 years ago: the ones that mattered. So, Mars will, have two moonlets, Jupiter will have 4 moons and great number of moonlets, etc etc.

    You should do this with combining the mass of everything in the solar systems. And compare that to other known solar systems.

    Our moon it bigger than yours! You learn to appreciate that the earth's moon is huge compared to most other moons. It's time to go back to the moon, at least with robots to explore.

    You should've included Pluto's moons because you said "All The Moons in Our Solar System", not all the moons of all the planets in the solar system.

    What you combined , was all the moons of our planets, not our solar system. Pluto alone has 5 moons, with Sharon alone, having a diameter of of 753.1 miles. Many of our dwarf planets have moons, and the total number of dwarf planet is unknown. The number of dwarf planets is estimated to be approximately 200 in the Kuiper belt and over 10,000 in the region beyond. If we were to combine all the moons in our solar system, their size would greatly exceed that of planet Earth.

    random fact: the moon Mimas is the Death Star and it blew up a planet between Mars and Jupiter and created the asteroid belt.
