Nick and Brad thanks for all the great advice. Was out in Northern Ontario and fish were being super picky. Tried the forage minnow jig that I recently purchased and I crushed them 🎣
Good to hear man! That's such a killer little technique when the bite is tough
Lucky you! Nothing to walk out on in SW Ontario, but ice making temps arrive Saturday. 🤞
Always poking the bear(s) lol. Fun little trip man! 👊 Let's get out again soon....
I'm just confrontational guy! 😂
Another great video. I’m subscribed to all you guys. Really enjoy the videos you guys put out.
Thanks Richard!
Always great content. Still waiting on ice here in the midwest in my area, but we're getting very close! I appreciate all the tips and seeing how u set up all ur gear! Keep it up!
Thanks for watching man!
So cool showing up and everyone parked on the ice! Nice work fellas looked like a blast.
Thanks buddy!
Another great video! Thanks Nick!🎣
Thanks for watching Evan!
Cold pizza on the ice is a great snack! Looks like a fun trip 😂
Thanks man! I’m a HUGE fan of leftover pizza on the ice
What a crazy year Nick guys like me are driving to Northern Minnesota and you guys from Minnesota are driving to North Dakota !! Crazy 👍👍👍
Haha seriously though! What a wild December.
That's a great trip for sure. Welcome to North Dakota. You all beat me to ice fishing at Devils Lake. I've never done that trip before and only live 2 1/2 hours away. TJ said you all were out there while I was in the Brainerd Lakes area open-water fishing from the shore. Ha, ha.
It’s a special place. I need to get out there more often!
You’re a beauty, Nick! Thanks for catching all those fish so we can hone in on you like that 😂
Hahaha!
I'm curious on your thoughts on Uncut Angling video? only asking because I saw it in your intro for this video.
Aaron is the 🐐. I have enormous respect for him, but I think we disagree on the mortality rate of the fish that swim down to bottom.
Im a huge fan nick and also a huge fan of aaron. My crappie arent deep enough to see for myself. It is unusual a guy that a guy who i didnt even know made videos any more came out swinging.
Enjoyed this video!! You guys did really good. That’s some short water. Will remember to keep my phone close to me!! It works!!
It’s my most effective tactic! Lol
@@NickLindner will put it to work next week and report back!
Cant wait to see another video of TJ herding crappies.
Haha yes!
shallow structures, such as rocky points, sandbars, submerged humps, and weed beds. These areas provide cover and attract baitfish, which, in turn, attract walleyes. Walleyes can be sensitive to noise and disturbances. Approach shallow areas quietly Experiment with different colors, and pay attention to which colors are more successful under specific conditions.
100% agree
I'm hoping to be fishing for pike this time next week, but in the meantime I'll have to watch you or Brett or Clayton out on the ice.
So what’s the verdict??
@@NickLindner maybe tomorrow - really cold tonight, but there's a layer of stoopid snow on the ice! Above freezing temps and rain/snow are coming back this weekend, so I'm hoping tonight gives us a bunch of new ice. 🤞
Nik you should have kept coming west down Hwy 2 to the big lake, they are slaying big walleye on the lake and river
I know!
Awesome video! Hope you enjoyed ND, come back anytime!! I'm sure you get asked a lot but how hard is it to overlay your livescope onto the screen for the youtube videos? Super cool!
You basically need to do it in your editing software
No barotrauma but you may give them a headache bangin' them off the ice when ya set the hook! 😂
Haha, hopefully they are wearing helmets!
Good lord, Aaron’s video is blowing up. Every fishing channel is talking about it
Haha yup!
What bay do you use to park and unload to get out ??
It was in the middle of the lake. Not sure what they name it. There are a TON of good places to access the lake from.
@@NickLindner yes there is ,big area lake planning trying to be there Saturday
I have caught many walleys on lake poygan in less than 2 foot of water!
That’s amazing! That sounds like a blast
Got it going on!
🔥
How many Northern did you catch?
Just a handful
So how much better is livescope than mega live?
At the moment, I think the Livescope is a step above. Obviously everything is constantly evolving, but the LS is my choice now.
The fact you’re running it over mega live says it all, I love my bird graphs but really hope they step up to compete with livescope
@@travisgriffiths8170I wouldn’t sleep on Humminbird long term.
You know ....I really want that orange vk. lol
It’s a sexy little workhorse!
You think this bite exists in MN? Maybe next video? :)
Undoubtedly there are bites like this in Minnesota.
Soooo…….what was the take on Aaron’s Video? lol
I believe a crappie pulled outta 40 feet of water will probably last about as long as Jaren Hall 😂
@@NickLindner 😂 well played.
"Pretty big lake" make me laugh
That's for sure one of my favorite lines! lol
😂👏👏👏
@@NickLindnerI can’t believe Brett just came in on you like that. Who does that!? 😂
