I have tried countless times to remove the dry “cuticle” skin with a ball bit as you did in this video, and no matter what I do it has never worked for me. I feel like it’s one of those things that’s hard to really screw up but I’m clearly missing something with the technique!
Love you and your videos ❤❤❤ I was following you since so long on IG but I wasn't understanding Russian 😭. I still have a question dear ... what about the white tissue under the cuticle .. between cuticle and nail plate ... it seems so hard to remove them with a red flame bit .. and I don't know to get rid of them ... even if I removed them ... it takes couples of days and they appear again .. so I think I'm doing something wrong 😭🙋🏻♀️ Also if you can advise us how to take care of our cuticles and skin after doing a hardware manicure ... as I feel like my fingers became naked or hard to be irritated or it is like something opened and being objected to any scratch or hurt or .... (While I didn't hurt the skin) But it is a feeling of discomfort i cannot explain . And those white underneath appears and bothers me
hi, the white tissue you're talking about is probably pterygium, I personally don't have much cuticle, but lots of pterygium on the nail plate, and I have to remove it all the time I do my nails, there's not that much we can do about it, unfortunately, since it all depends on individual nail growth processes; the only thing is that with time your skin gets used to a manicure and the cuticle and all that pterygium stop growing badly; to take care of the skin and the cuticles use natural oils and hand creams with a soothing effect.
I use the "tapered barrel" diamond bit...like a cone with the top half cut off. It tucks in and sits flat on the nail. My clients love it the most. One told me she looks forward to that one it's so therapeutic. It may seem like an extra bit and step too much, but it really finishes the nail prep stage well. I get mine on Amazon.
So I don't need cuticle remover ???I can just use a dry manicure my cuticles hurt when I manicure them even with the cuticle remover just pushing them hurts
Her-"Trust me, if your clients get hurt, they won't keep silent"...😂 Me- says nothing & goes home & researches how to do this myself & how to treat the cut he gave me.😬 He removed old gel nails with a new nail extension tip. Used old used nail files not new or sterile packaging.🤢
Ouch! This hurt just reading about it. Okay you guys, pardon me while I preach the nail gospel. This won’t be a short sermon today… The best thing you can do if confronted with such situations in the future is stop them and tell them you changed your mind and won’t be getting a service done today. Listen to your gut. You don’t have to be a nail pro to trust the instincts that are probably telling you something isn’t right here. For the sake of your nails (and the sanity of your future nail tech😂) don’t subject yourself to such torture. If the removal “method” wasn’t enough of a red flag on its own, the bucket of communal files should confirm it: you do not want any type of nail service done at such a shady establishment! Yes, it sucks that we have to dispose of a “perfectly good nail file”, even if it was only used for a single pass, but there exist excellent reasoning for this standard! In my state, for every single used file/buffer, the regulating body can and often does issue fines of $150 PER disposable item that’s been retained! And this is usually only done after several warnings. I can’t imagine there to be justifiable logic- you risk being caught with multiple used items at $150 per offense, just because you can’t fathom using a new file for every client at an average cost of
We have no efile manicure education in the United States, and the education we do have is very unclean and poor. We need this. Thank you!
I was scared thinking you actually cut her but I realized that it was just coloring😂 you got me for a second

The white tissue IS the cuticle. Its supposed to grow back. The skin that covers it is the proximal nail fold.
