So i have the same brand diff model but also has the same battery. I bought new ones and popped off the old harness to reuse on the new batteries and forgot how they were connected. Looks like you have neg terminal to positive terminal using the red wire with the fuse and then. Red wire to positive and black wire to negative. These two connect to the machine. Correct? I read something about running two 12v in series and it was slightly diff so im a little confused.
Hi, it's been a few years since I've had it apart so don't exactly recall. But looking at the video it does look like the two batteries are in series for 24V with the fused wire between them. Hope the video helps you a little
@@pincusa thanks, yeah no where is the “manual” does it say the machine is 24v or 12v which would make it easier to figure out the correct way to wire it. Seems to work both ways. I guess i will stick with the 24v series method. Thanks!
So glad you posted this! Just bought the same unit and the battery is dead on ours as well- fan isn't working-stride wont adjust- machine turns off instantly as soon as you stop moving. I bought the replacement batteries online- how difficult is the self installation? Don't want to pay someone to come out for hundreds again.
Hi there, anyone have any idea what is the voltage for the lateral power supply for Lx8000.. Can see it plugged in this video, but could not find what is the voltage rating required. Also what polarity is on pins? +ve on inside and -ve on outer?
I just bought a used on of these machines, initially everything was working now, the lateral adjustment is not working. The diagnostic screen shows that my battery is in good condition. I've opened the machine to check for any loose connections but everything seems fine. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for sharing your expertise.
Hi, when you're on the diagnostic screen, try adjusting the lateral. I'd still open it up and check the batteries. Sorry, don't know more about the machine then this
@@pincusa Thanks for your response. I tried adjusting from the diagnostic screen and while i didn't get an error, the pedals themselves didn't move. I plan on calling Octane tomorrow & post an update here just in case anyone else needs help.
Don't know. Mine drained down when I unplugged it, but seems to hold a charge when I leave it plugged in. I guess my recommendation would be a cheap 12v battery charger on the batteries if the unit isn't charging it

Removing the covers is the worst part. Battery replacement is cutting some zip ties and swapping the batteries.
Same problem. Which kind of batteries did you use? Data?
Sorry, Don't recall where I got them, but search the battery numbers online as they're standard batteries

Where did you find the batteries?! My battery has poor voltage making lateral stride not work...please let me know...thanks!
I forget where I purchased them, but Google "np7-12 battery" and you'll find sources.
Confirm those are the same batteries you have first

can you tell me how to fixed please
Sorry, wish I knew more to assist you
I bought a new battery, it was working great for about 3 weeks. It is back to low battery. Is this happening to anyone else?
This happened to me also. Are you unplugging the machine when it's not being used? Or do you leave it running?
@@pincusa I am leaving it plugged in. I thought that would help keep the battery charged.

@@pincusa yeah that is what I am now thinking. Hopefully a new charger works. Glad to know others have had this problem but it can be fixed :)
