Pictures posted in real time can pose a risk. Had friends whose home was robbed during their wedding day.

I think it is so tacky to ask people to show up by themselves ESPECIALLY if the wedding is a wedding the guest is traveling to. You expect someone to travel by themselves and to hang out by themselves the whole day because you couldn't budget better? I would rather have a buffet and have my single guests invite someone they can enjoy my wedding with than have servers and my single guest being rudely reminded that they are single hence why they are there by themselves. That is one wedding rule that I do not and will not understand. I learned this the hard way too because I brought my sister to a friend's wedding since I did not want to take a ten-hour road trip by myself and I was not aware of this rule. I am Mexican and I would say that in my experience it is quite the contrary. You get an invitation and it is just assumed that you are showing up with family. The next day the bride embarrassed me in front of her husband and maid of honor about bringing my sister and then never spoke to me again because she thought I was so tacky for inviting my sister. She knew! I put it in the RSVP. It said I could be a plus one. Anyway, I am still bitter lol! I am getting married and I plan on inviting all of my good single friends and including their plus one.

What if you're living on a disability pension and there isn't any "extra" for a financial gift, but you have the perfect gift?
People living on fixed incomes do get invited to weddings.
Also, y'all didn't consider support animals.
