  • In this video, we unbox and take a look at the BearClaw Winch. This ATV winch is packed with features, accessories and install convenience at a fraction of the cost of a Warn Vantage or ProVantage Winch.
    ** You Get:
Everything you need to get you out of the worst environments imaginable. (1) Bear Claw 3100 lb. High Output Power ATV Winch (1) 45' cable with zinc-plated 1/4" hook kit (1) 4-way roller fairlead (1) powder coated steel snatch block (1) handlebar rocker switch (1) solenoid (1) nylon safety pull strap (1) heavy-gauge battery cable with connectors (1) heavy-gauge motor cable with connectors (1) complete hardware mounting kit (1) user's manual with easy-to-follow, detailed installation instructions. All backed by a 2-year warranty.
    Compact Design
The Bear Claw 3100 has a compact design - the same size as a typical 3000 lb. winch with an extra 100 lbs. of pull. That's something no other winch can offer. Combine that with Bear Claw durability, smooth spooling, and quiet performance and you have a winch that's unsurpassed. It's got a concentric winch spool for better cable alignment and the easiest installation on the market with color-coded wiring and complete installation instructions. Our 4-bolt mounting pattern boasts a universal fit for ATV winch plates for super-simple installation.
Oversized Freespool & Triple Planetary Gears
What you see here is a super-oversized freespool control that engages and disengages easily. You see a sealed housing that keeps out muddy water that can cause irreversible damage to your winch. What you don't see is that inside this sealed housing are triple planetary steel gears that can't be matched for dependability, durability, and consistent performance. Planetary gears distribute torque evenly over several contact points to strain gears less and prevent gear strip out. That's how we can get an extra 100 lbs. of pull into the same size winch- by working smarter.
    Tougher Electronics
A winch is no good to you if it doesn't have all the goods to bring you power in any environment and through tough conditions. Think about it, power has to travel from the battery to the relay, from the relay to the winch. After traveling that distance you want good, clean connections to insure that all your power is reaching your winch. Corrosion resistant, super-conductive terminal posts mean consistent power and dependable performance.
All the features in the world are no good with a bad contactor. Winch contactors are often the weak link, but we built ours to last where others fall short. Most winches come with warranties limited by their electronics. Our proven contactor comes with heavy cable that's oversized, with more than enough length to run on an ATV or other application. The base is heavy-duty cast so it won't move or break, and it's designed to heat sync (pull heat from the components) so there's less risk of overheating. We've designed this contactor for rugged outdoor use in all conditions. Includes all mounting hardware and handlebar switch.
    Snatch Block & Hook
Our 1/4" zinc-plated steel hook is made of tough stuff. Not all hooks are created equal, our safety catch is built with zinc-coated steel to perform like a champ. Zinc coated steel cotter pin and clevis key for secure attachment and corrosion free performance. The powder coated steel snatch block is designed for angled pulls / creating pulley systems which significantly reduce the amount of force required to move an object, so your winch produces more pulling power with less heat build-up and amp draw.

He's not joking about that 2 year warranty. Mine took a shit on me at Hatfield McCoy 2 weeks ago and they're sending me a new one no questions asked and I can keep my old one. That's customer service.
