I sold 90 empty matchbook fid $130. World War 2 military related. It took over a year though! Always entertaining y'all!
cool deal on that protractor ... I loved all those math tools but I was terrible at math For instance in college I had to calculate the number of bricks the building was made of using scientific notation after this long complicated equation that took up pages I worked weeks on that equation only I forgot to square everything duh ... the professor was so impressed with all my other work he gave me a B+ for that equation .
We were paying $450 for all those vintage Coach bags, back in the day. I agree that the quality was so much better. I still have all of mine.
Vintage poker chips in those spinner holders are a good flip if you can get them cheap enough.

I had one of t hose flip alarm clocks in High School and when I became an insomniac that FLIP sound would mark every minutes I was NOT sleeping drove me insane . Had another friend high school who was also an insomniac and he said for every hour you just lay there it is equivalent to 20 minutes sleep ... so I would just lay there in the dark room trying calculate " how much sleep I was getting when NOT sleeping"

yes vintage matchbooks are really good. I've sold lots of vintage hotel matches. the Madonna Inn matchbooks sold really well for me.

When you source like this are you guys on your phone half the time looking at ebay for comps, or are you seeing these and generally knowing what it would go for?
We're pretty good about knowing what to buy without looking, never hurts to check but we've been full-time resellers for almost 10 years so we've picked up a bit of knowledge along the way :)

@@RALLIROOTS I was heading to the gym and being lazy about googling. Safety Matches which is what you have must be mailed via ground and can’t go internationally. Much like perfume…good luck with them.

Random question alert..!!! 😂 when you guys (you and your viewers) are filing your taxes are you including sales tax as an expense? Like even though you never see the money and ebay distributes it to the states for you. Please help! For years I didn’t realize that eBay/Poshmark/Mercari were including the sales tax on my 1099K income and I haven’t been including it and I just wanted to know if I’m crazy and I am the only one who didn’t realize that.
