She reunited with MGR and she was by his side day and night when he died, MGR was her only love of her life. That is why she could not get married to anyone else and live a normal life.

Jayalalitha is a public figure so people would want to know about her life. In anycase, it is not against the law for Jaya to live together with anybody she wishes.
It is her victory in politics that has to be admired. She introduced " amma restaurant" providing food at low prices for ordinary workers. This is a keynesian economic policy. It creates new jobs, creates a new market for the produce from the farms and increases the income of farmers. This policy has to be looked from a perspective of a state with a population of 67.2 million.
The same way MGR introduced the free lunch program. This is also a keynesian economic policy. Though MGR introduced the free lunch program, it would be better to improve on this program by charging a nominal sum of say 50 to 60 rupees per month for each student. Both MGR and Jaya are great leaders. Thank yiu.

She was a woman ahead of her time. Maybe the loss of her father at a very young age made her look for a father figure. She found it first in MGR. But MGR wouldn't do the honorable thing by marrying her. Since he couldn't commit to her she found solace with another older man who was also married.
Since his wife was sick, they both decided that divorce was not an option as it would be too cruel and stressful for the first wife.
After this relationship also fizzled out, MGR gave her a new purpose in her life.
The very fact that during the worst period of her political life, she did not give up ON MGR's party shows what an impact he must have had in her life.
There never will be another woman like Jayalalitha! She lived life in her own terms, made terrible mistakes, redeemed herself and was an astute politician. She will be missed
