Hello, dr. Sam, again from Romania. Please, show us a little bit vascular anatomy of the lower limb. I'm also interested in the carotidian index intimate-medium. Thank you very much.
Hi dr. Thank you for the video but I have doubts about some waveform patterns... do you have an email were i can send you the images? Cant find anywhere what to intermediate ressistive index mean with high velocities in al the arteries from middle third of superficial femoral artery to dorsal artery of foot. Comon femoral arterry and deep femoral artery also proximal third of superficial femoral artery are triphasic and with normal velocities...help! Sos
Best..sir plz upload popliteal n ant tibial n post tibial and peroneal n dorsalis pedis artery ...normal n abnormal....how to start Doppler arterial in lower limb techniques....
It is done to keep the doppler angle away from being perpendicular to the vessel. It does not matter whether the color box is directed towards the head or feet. That is random. We just need a sufficient doppler angle (60/45 degrees) to evaluate blood flow.

Mister Sam why the color box in the Lt image towards the head and in the Rt image is towards the feets? Please explain to us this point

Hello doctor please do make one probe orientation vdo on lower limb Doppler if it's possible .
Yes, it will be uploaded in the future. Thanks for watching!
Common femoral artery:
Peak Systolic Velocity - what is a good number with triphasic flow
Generally, PSV below 100cm/s is considered normal with triphasic flow
thanks sir
