Yes, exactly. Why pay for something that already exists, works well, and has MORE features? This video is an ad for a DOWNGRADE that you have to pay for. They tac 'AI' onto it LMFAO. Big difference between a script, and AI.
@@Sam_Bent oh. Another comment here as well. Once again, not an Ad - a tutorial on the plugin that highlights some good features, and some bad. If you’d like to find evidence of using script-based programming rather than AI, DM me. I don’t know what happens in their back end, but if they’re advertising it as AI and you have proof that it’s not, let’s call them out on it. Until then, please stop spamming a bunch of negative comments on people who’re here to learn.
There is definitely a change of pace when using this - if you’re happy with the Premiere TBE, stick with it. I personally couldn’t get into it, hence trying this. 😂
This is NOT AI; it's scripting. The fact that the person in the video doesn't know shows the depth of knowledge you are dealing with here. This video is an ad, one for features that come NATIVE in Premiere Pro.
I addressed this towards the end of the video. There are a lot of things that Adobe are catching up with, but FireCut is still ahead in terms of UI and speed, IMO. The auto-caption feature alone is miles ahead of Adobe's, and there are features like auto-chapters that don't exist in Premiere, as far as I'm aware. I don't think it's a rip-off, but they definitely need to innovate and add more unique features if they compete with Adobe's updates - the short-form from horizontal is a big one that would keep me as a customer.
@@HeroVisionYT The UI of 'transcribe' is built into it and native to premiere. Live transcibe in Premiere, allows for not only 'auto-captions' but also TEXT EDITING. LOL Also, I can search ANY specific word or filler word, and have it removed or remove all. Your paying for features that are native, to the tool. That's why this ad is rediculous.
Alright, you must be fun at parties - let me clarify a few things. This isn’t an ad. I like plugins, tech and software. I brought this plugin, I made a video on the plugin. There’s an affiliate link so that I can make a cut of any sales from this video, but I’m not promoting this product in a deliberately positive or negative light. I talk about it from my experience, as an editor, much like yourself - completely unbiased, and have no involvement with FireCut or its features. It’s advertised as AI. The name is quite literally FireCut AI. I have no idea what happens in their back end, all I know is that it contextualises various elements of a video and helps me edit. If it does a good job, that’s all I care about. But it doesn’t always do a good job, there are plenty of missing features, and features that are already built into Premiere. I state that throughout the video, from start to finish, and even doubt the future of the plugin at the end of the video, because of how in-line with Adobe’s updates FireCut is. As for TBE - you’re right, premiere does have it. FireCut has a different variation of it, too. IMO, as stated in the video, transcribing, TBE, filler removal and suchlike all work better with this, but that’s subject to your preference and workflow. So, just to double down on the fact that this isn’t an ad, let me state something from my own perspective, as a creator, and definitely not a spokesman. Listen to the words coming from my voice throughout the video. Share an opinion, fine, but this is your third or fourth comment on a single video, making false claims and - quite frankly - chatting a load of rubbish. I appreciate your perspective on the app, but Jesus Christ man, make a cup of tea and breathe for a second.
Oh, pssst! 😙 FireCut have a free trail! Try it. Or not... I'm not your Father. Or am I? firecut.ai/?ref=hero
interestingggggggggg although it feels like it would just clash with my already existing text based editing workflow

Ai, either rules the world or does dumb stuff
I'll be satisfied when a robot makes me a sandwich.

@@Sam_Bent okay and? Is still funny and "the person in the video" has a name
plz send me firecut key
I don't have any, sir. 🙏🏻 Paid for this like everyone else.
This Tool is REVELUTUNERY (Something I Think Premiere should include)
Absolutely! I think we'll be seeing a lot of stuff like this in Premiere over the next year or two.
Almost all of this can be done natively on premiere pro now with text based editng. This AI is a rip off.
