I do like the detail of Harley knowing they didn't truly kill Batman. The ending implies she didn't know Brainiac cloned the League, so that would mean she simply didn't believe Batman would go down that easily.
I don't believe in a million miles that the clone versions are a weaker version of the league. If they were able to kill Wonderwoman I don't think in a million years that they didn't believe it that it wasn't the real Batman who they thought they killed. There are stranges behaviours to be notice because this DLC never explained how Batman and Superman was alive is just that they are, somehow appeared to be somewhat part of Batman's plan on which in this case it doesn't hold on a clue of what the fck is happening.
@@GuilhermeOliveira-qh8wf The game does imply that had Wonder Woman used Golden Kryptonite (the only reason the Squad even had a chance) on the genetically modified clone, she would've won, but she didn't know he was modified to be impervious to green kryptonite. The clone gained the upper hand when she let her guard down after using the green kryptonite. I think the "Batman plan" mention in the ending was simply referring to the series of contingency plans Batman had laid out should the League go rouge. The Squad used a couple of them to take down Flash and Green Lantern. Superman and Batman both seemed to be imprisoned in the Skull Ship (it looks like Superman was breaking free of his cell with another empty cell next to his which presumably held Batman) and escaped right as the Squad arrived. This was obviously a very hastily concocted ending with a lot of convenience writing, to give some semblance of a conclusion, with only a skeleton crew and barely any budget to work with. By episode 1, it was apparent the production values went down significantly, hence the ending we have here. But, in my opinion, it's at least an ending.
@@heraldsavior8425 Still I was literally giving everything on their backs and now that is over I felt cheated out of what I expected. If Batman and Superman were imprisioned then what a stupid way to give away the story. I was thinking the real Batman was outside all along doing the work alongside with the bad Batman because I never thought that just somehow Batman escaped since they didn't gave us any reason that might explain where they are this entire time. I was crossfingered for something big, big enough to get us something that explains things that we missed that suggest us all along where they are and some questions that we got left and so far this ending just gave us more question and I'm definetly more unsatisfied by everything. I never watch the audio logs videos in this game except the ones who was Justice League talking because I do not care about any of the protagonists as we play, I only care about the heroes and trust me that was the only reason for why I was checking out on these updates once in a while.
You know maybe this is just how I interpret Slade, but I have never really thought of him as the “I can grow back body parts” kind of guy. I assumed his healing factor was more along. The lines of wounds would close up pretty quick and he could endure more damage than anyone reasonably should, but if he loses a body part (like an eye) then it’s gone forever.
@@donnie1774 Yeah, this doesn’t exclusively go for this game, but just in general versions of Slade who’s healing factor lets him regrow entire body parts doesn’t really make sense. After all if that’s the case, why doesn’t his eye grow back? As I said in the comment above, I think it’s better that he’s healing factor is pretty much just a sped up version of a human healing factor. They can’t bring them back from the dead or let him grow entire limbs, but his wounds will heal ridiculously fast and maybe it can spare him from a potential career ending injury. But I don’t think he should be able to regrow entire fingers since inevitably you’d have to ask. Why does he bother with the eyepatch if he can regrow body parts?
@@comicfan1324 Just a theory, but maybe certain body parts that are more fragile or sensitive or sth, like the eye, are harder or impossible to grow back, whereas something like a finger isn’t as much, so his healing factor can kick in more easily Idk, it’s a weird case in fiction where a character that can heal from fatal stab wounds or severely damaged organs can’t grow back an eye or arm.
OK, I know this version of Slade hasn’t shown the same “interest” as some of his other counterparts, but after what happened in the Judas Contract, it feels very concerning to hear him talk to kid Ivy. 😟
@rando9460 Even worse. She’s five. Remember the original Ivy died five years before kill the Justice League, so even if she spawned into a new body the day after she died (which is very unlikely) the absolute oldest she could be is about five years old
This game is a decent game - if it wasn't part of the Arkhamverse. I enjoyed the characters, the gameplay and the dynamics, but they ruined many years of Batman storytelling. And The ending to this season can pluck my exhaust port.
@@mayortheogalavan the game isn't considered canon, and since Sefton Hill left and the studio most likely seeing reason to not make it canon, they'll just ignore or distance themselves from it
Y'know, it would've been nice to y'know hear Superman in an audio log one more time.. Possibly talk about his regrets of basically being the one technically responsible for leading things into the end result of turning the home he knows and loves into a tragic and ruined battlefield thanks to having faith in Braniac? I don't even care about hearing Conroy again, I'd just want to hear Superman list off his regrets and how he tries to overcome them. Do a speech about perseverance in the face of despair, SOMETHING! This whole game took place in SUPERMAN'S HOME you would think they'd have him say anything at all about looking at what it's become after he got saved!
Had we gotten more seasons and episodes, I bet there would have been more lines and dialogue with Batman and the League in general. But since those episodes got scrapped and the ending had to be rushed due to the game's failure, there was nothing they could really do at that point.
So basically the brainiac records reveal that brainiac has one of the explosives in his head to do wallers bidding well that’s just great brainiac and Argus are still a major threat
I took it as Brainiac's ultimate just dessert. It seems this audio log takes place after the ending; the squad and League left Brainiac to Waller and then take his ship to start repairing the multiverse after freeing the Metropolis captives. If Waller steps out of line, Lane has all the incriminating evidence on ARGUS from the Squad. Otherwise, it seems she wants to use Brainiac as a lab rat.
